Hmm for the BC, is it important? Well I guess it depends. If you already have a PS2 then having BC just makes your life easier as you would only need the PS3 in your entertainment center as opposed to the PS2 and PS3. So in that regards its just a convince. If you don't have a PS2 then your missing out on the great PS2 games that we have all come to know and love.
But if that was a problem then you could buy the PS2 for 100$. But of course that would defeat the purpose of the 3...
Just adds to the feel of it.
And there is a reason the PC couldn't do rumble. Imagen if you keyboard or mouse vibrated everything something exploded. Not so good I would think.
Though I guess you could buy yourself one of those vibrating chairs but, you might get odd look whenever someone saw it...

Yea I know and I guess you could say that the 360 competed with a 125$ I think it was, PS2, which although was not next-gen system, the price tag was just right.
Anyways I think I said the PS3 is doing just, by my book, but most people/media/analyst seem to agree that is selling at a lackluster level. Does that make them right, or make their assumptions of its sales fair? Probably not, but their opinion does matter more than mine.

All this is very true, even the fact that the PS3 is selling almost exactly the same as the 360 did...But the 360 was the underdog this whole time and everything thought the PS3 was the clear winner. So the fact that they are about equal says something.
More than likely its price, but thats just my opinion. Anyways does the fact that its selling at 360 startup levels mean its doing bad? Well no its doing just fine, but being the "highest contender" does mean it was so...

I care about RPG's more than most other genres, which oldly enough, the 360 currently has more of.
Anyways I posted this somewhere else, but the 2 most popular? or at least 2 most talked about games on this site for the PS3 is Resistance/Warhawk. Both shooters! More or less with Warhawk.
The thing is that shooters are popular in America, and you could blah blah on about how the 360's only great games are shooters( which to some extent you just may be...

Well its the same on the PS3. I don't know any figures but the 2 games everyone talks about are Resistance and Warhawk, both shooters. You could throw HS in there, but its not quite as popular.
Anyways the "sad truth" is that shooters are popular right,and for one reason or another the 360 has *most* of the best ones, so I'm not quite sure what your point is?
I care not who wins this stupid war, but really Spider-Man 3 and Pirates 3 were just horrible. But having said that I'm almost 100% positive people will still buy both of them by the load anyways.
