Well in theory you could devise your commercials to target what the viewers are watching, via that online tracking. Kind of like if they really liked the pip, then you could advertise that your move as pip.
But the interactivity is more of a gimmick than anything else. It's not needed to watch the movie and for me it very rarely is used. Hell the only dvd that I have watched everything on the disc, including the commentary are the extended LoTR movies. But with 12 disc of Tolk...

Actually I called MGS a"shooter of shorts" since you walk around shooting ... Although in a very different way from say CoD4. Also if you want to call the PS3 an RPG console thats fine, but it's not. Maybe I'm wrong about this but I have not heard of even 1 RPG that PS3 currently has. Sure it will have White Knight and FF somewhere in the distant future but the 360 already has 3, 4 if you count Mass Effect. Now talk about the PS2 and thats a whole other story.

I've always wondered if rumble will affect the motion control thing. Like would the rumble gives false impute and cause your guy to go this way and that? But since I have no way to test it myself I guess I'll have to figure that Sony already thought of this and worked it all out.
Ohh I wasn't arguing variety. While the 360 does have more games in each genre, its very true that only the shooter (for the most part) are the big hitters. But thats hardly sunrising because for better or worse thats what America buys. Personally I love variety as well. Hence why I have Viva,(laugh but it's addicting as hell) Guitar Hero, Eternal Sonata, Maden, Kameo and some others. Plus of course the famous shooters, except Halo 3. I'm sure it's a great game but I'll wait till its 30$. <...
I'm not sure what hes talking about but, Sony as a whole hasn't been doing so great in the past 3 or 4 years. This is mostly because their competition, mostly in the entertainment market, has undercut them in prices while still offering similar quality. Not surprisingly most of say competition is coming out of China. Also BR is costing them lots, as did developing the Cell Processor.
I'm curious why everyone is up in arms about the 360 mentioned in this article. Maybe he actually went there for the other items he got. Hell I read about a 400$ laptop with specs that would normally cost around 900$.
So is everyone just assuming he only went for the 360, or did they just read the headline and think "ohh this man is stupid because he bought a 360 on..." I'm betting the former.
Why would someone who hates the 360 take the time to post what you posted?
Unless its a burner to the respective type I really don't care. I'm sure some people have large enough monitors or a TV close enough to their computer to output to it, but most don't. So meh. :)

Bah I hated QW. The action was to fast paced and by that I mean everything was pretty much spray and pray. So little actually aiming, which isn't to bad for UT, but for a squad tactics game its just horrible. Now if they merged BF pace and scope with QW deployables then you my friend got your self a game!
Same. Hated the online but I loved the single player. It was something really different than todays standard squad based shooters.

Umm I don't think I've seen one thread or comment on how much harder the 360 is to develop for. On the other hand I've read many comments from developers on how much harder the PS3 is to work on. So really your just talking out of your bum despite that your talk is contrary to all previous evidence.
