I'm 42 and I still think Mario is the bomb....it's THE reason I own a Wii and DS...got my PS3 for the 1080p stuff.
I have a Wii to play Nintendo 1st party software since those games rock. I have a PS3 to play everything else.

It only stays on wile the unit is on. So, you power down your system and the fan shuts off...guess what, your system is still hot so it bakes while your fan does nothing. The Pelican fan turns on when the unit gets to a certain temp and turns off by itself when it cools down enough, even after you’ve turned off your console.
and that's why I chose the PS3. The best value for all consoles. Blu-ray, built in wifi, free PSN, wireless rechargeable controller, etc.
I don't play JRPG's but wanted to get anyone's opinion on what you think of these:
Etrian Odyssey 1 and 2
Luminous Arc 1 and 2
I noticed no one mentioned these. Are they any good?
I'm already in the habit of calling it Modern Warfare 2.

the first one was a major letdown for me....boring.
I wish devs would put the option of turning off cussing like in BIA:HH and Gears. I get tired (literally) of having to wait until the kids' bedtime before I can play Killzone2. I can send them out of the room so they can't see the gore, but I have surround sound for a reason. While I don't mind the occasional cuss word, overdoing it just for the sake of having it in there (I'm looking at you K2, Madworld, HOTD Overkill, Riddick), is ridiculous.
I've been waiting to buy a Tiger Woods game on the Wii until it uses motionplus....can't wait for Tiger Woods 10! Golf, tennis, sword and light saber play...these are the kinds of games the Wii was made for (well, maybe Mario and Zelda too!).
R2 is one of my favorite games. Loved the SP and the co-op. The competitive multiplayer is not as epic as COD4 but I love that me and a friend siting next to me can go online together. Playing R2 made me buy FOM. Insomniac rules.
Definitely getting TW10 now.

Who knows what will happen. Saying you think this and that will be revealed is pure speculation and wishful thinking. Maybe they'll wow us, but we should set our expectations low -- it will lessen the pain of the kick to the teeth.
