BTW, Spec Ops: The Line is looking really sweet. A dark TPS set in a near future Dubai. Published by an awesome publisher, 2K Games and being developed by German developer Yager.
Unbelievable the amount of shooters coming out:
COD Black Ops
Medal of Honor
Brink
Crysis 2
Vanquish
Spec Ops: The Line
Killzone 3
Resistance 3 (probably)
Singularity
Bulletstorm
Socom 4
Fear 3
Quantum Theory
Rage
Deus Ex
Ghost Recon Future Soldier
Aliens: Colonial Marines
Then throw in Mafia 2, Max Payne 3, and Dead Space 2 which ha...
koombas FTW
feel sorry for the Wii folks that paid the initial asking price of this game.
Borderlands offers great value for the money and the dlc is awesome (except one).
If developers are so hell bent on putting nudity in games, I just wish they would uniformly have an options setting to hide it or skip it. Sort of like Gearbox did for Brothers in Arms with the swearing. If RDR had this option, I would buy it.
the killing is not real, the swearing is. It's a lot easier for a kid to imitate swearing than it is for him/her to imitate killing.
LOL at this comment:
"I don't believe a word of it. I bet the Treyarch guys are loving this. Finally they're not the deformed, mentally-disabled, bastard cousins of Infinity Ward any more... they're the top dogs, teacher's pet to Activision and the fat cat that runs that outfit."
yeah...at the end of the video you kick in a door and the guard doesn't even turn around...hmmmm.
the disagreers here are very orant.
how can anyone disagree with that. It is a fact :)
loved Resistance 2 single player campaign. Competitive multiplayer was not equally awesome but still fun.
yeah I always had to wait until the kids went to bed before I could play the swearing was so bad. Glad they plan on toning it down.
hmmm, $120 a year is 2.4 times what Xbox Live costs. It's going to have to really be awesome for me to even consider it.
Prefer physical disk. I like admiring the cover art as well as the guide. Also, I bought FEAR 2 from Steam and really wish I could trade it or sell it right now.
zackly...we consumers are the ones getting screwed over and some people are bending over willingly screaming give me more. Now all we need is Activision to follow suit (which they will)...or maybe their execs don't have enough to put food on the table after only making billions on MW2.
And EA's below average 2009 was preceded by a record 2008. Retail sales ebb and flow...they are not hurting for money.
EA is struggling to make a profit? LMFAO!!!!!!
ugh...so many fine-looking FPS's coming our way...how do I find money and time to play them all.
how is this not good? you can trade in a game and use trade credits to get dlc. You no longer have to use your credit only on a disk-based game. This means more options for us consumers folks.
I was a little disappointed in RE5 but still enjoyed it as the ACTION game that it is. I want a scary RE6 with zombies and to be able to walk/run and shoot at the same time.
