This was to be expected. Obviously the PS4 will pass them up again next week. The numbers won't become clear until a year from now when the exclusives hit each system.
Who cares? A console cannot replace a PC, in fact it can't even replace a smart phone for web browsing.
Australia isn't a country. Just FYI.
Ouch. They could have given it a 5 for the graphics alone.
The problem that I have with these reviewers are the constant "they look the same talk". Anyone who has a PS4 could testify that they instantly noticed a difference between native 1080p and upscaled 1080p from the last gen. Now the differences will not become evident so as long as one doesn't own both consoles. I imagine the developers will eventually figure out how to get to native, but as of now the difference is evident, particularly on screens of 46" and up.

Well they didn't brag about having the DTS 7.1 Audio. They didn't brag that the camera that actually does a lot more than what they stated either.
This system just keeps getting better. I hope they use this on future games.
The way I see it the X1 is in trouble. For the last few days things have come from the PS4 that they didn't even bother to share, including even more computing power that's locked for now. The X1 is clearly an inferior system. The only reason to get an X1 now is for the exclusives and that's it. It's far to expensive to buy and maintain with less to offer. Smh!
This is great news if you have the proper Audio system. I'm still stuck on 5.1 lol!
The math tells you Sony wins this battle even after the X1 gets it. However it won't matter unless Twitch suddenly becomes a hit. I didn't know what it even was until I got the PS4. Broadcasting is not my cup of tea, but I found it entertaining to watch.
The true gem in this is that you know longer will have to depend on someone else"s opinion of a game, just turn on the system and see for yourself.
First no mp3's from a jump drive and now this. This is starting to look like an almost all-in-one entertainment center. Let the trolling begin.
This article is irrelevant to the consumer. This guys job is product design so he is going to look at things quite differently. It's like myself being in automotive quality. The things that I would complain about at a dealership would seem like bickering to the average consumer.
I thought the comment regarding the colors of the controller were pointless considering that red and blue controllers are soon to be released. Matching up of colors is outdated.
Unfortunately these compressed videos do these comparisons little to no justice. Upon starting up KZ Shadow Fall for the first time I instantly noticed just how much better a native 1080p signal is compared to upscaled 1080p. In other words both systems games will look a whole lot better on your tv screen.
Now if XBox comes out with some pay per channel service that might work. Cable overall is a ripoff considering most people watch less than 10% of the channels they're forced to pay for.
Hmm let's see 5 minutes of DVR and a 50/50 chance I'll have some problems with the XBox? Nah I'll stick with my cable box.
They need to take the keyboard away from these haters. He wants all of his readers to fall in-line with his pessimistic views. FOH with that crap, Sony are console vets who have a proven history. Both companies will do better than they ever have in the past. Stop this childish hatred.
I think this writer is talking digital downloads which makes sense. He is not talking about the install from a physical disc.
I think the assessments were fair in this article, however in the end it's a gaming console. Isn't that what this is about? Do we not have enough access to Facebook and Netflix already? So when you tell people not to buy a gaming console for non-gaming reasons it sounds like hating. Just my opinion.
I am not sure what's wrong with people, but that KZ4 looks light years ahead of anything I've seen graphically on a console. No it's not perfect, but it shows a lot if potential. I can't even fathom how these games are going to look by 2015.
Actually I expected them to sell closer to 3 Million worldwide.
