I, for one, think it's great. The competition between the two is only making the games better. I doubt Battlefield 3 would even have a separate co-op campaign if it weren't for Call of Duty's spec ops.
Why must it be so far away?
I still don't know how I feel about this game. While the multiple play options, story, and RPG elements are intriguing, the game always appears to be very unpolished. I'm going to have to wait and see what the reviews say; hopefully it will be good. I am in desperate need of games to play.
I'm already there, and the game hasn't even released yet.
Same here. They look much more alien than they have previously.
Here is a picture of an Argonian.

The wait is becoming absolutely painful.
You are right; I care a lot about not caring.
And... I still don't care.
Skyrim will probably be the only game I purchase during November; I can hold off on the other games for a few months.
Yeah, Oblivion was an amazing game, but it was marred by a clunky interface and technical issues. Not only does Skyrim look to rectify these issues, but the scores of new gameplay systems, better( in my opinion) art direction, and the sheer amount of things to do, ensure that this will be an amazing game. Perhaps, even, the "ultimate" fantasy RPG.
I have a feeling this could become one of my favorite games of all time.
Same here. I understand the graphics will likely be significantly better on the PC; however, all of the footage they have shown so far has been on the 360, and it has all looked amazing. For as much time as I expect to sink into this game, I think I would rather be on my couch anyway.
AHHHHHHH! It is too much awesome!
The wait is is becoming unbearable.
I will buy three.

You will be able to customize your characters facial features and race. Dovahkiin translates to dragon-born; the character you will be playing as(no matter race) is dragon-born, therefore you are referred to as Dovahkiin.
Dovahkiin, I can't wait to play as you in Skyrim!
Games that need this technology: ALL OF THEM!
Spaced, Top Gear, and the Inbetweeners say hello.
