Such a dumbass kid.
Weary about the 1up review after the blowjob they've been given Halo 3 for a month. Halo 3 is definitely a good game though judging by the ign and gamespot reviews.
In all the reviews I've read, not counting 1up as I wouldn't buy anything 1up says after they gave Halo 3 a blowjob for the past month, they did say single player was the weakest link. However, everything else, the multiplayer, the customizations, forge, and the video recorder make up for it.
I'm gonna buy a PSP when they release Crisis Core in the US. Still holding my hopes up that they'll release a special edition pack like in Japan.
It is a pretty interesting vid. It is nice that Naughty Dog took all the complaints to heart about aiming and camera control to heart and made great strides to improve it. The major complaint now is its incredibly challenging AI. Gamespy says the game is too hard now because of the AI.
I like breasts and all, but once breasts get bigger than a certain size, they just don't work. I mean, c'mon.
Just curious. What are you trying to show?
You're not. Resistance 2 will be in 60 freaking frames per second. Sweet.
Really no possible way for this to flop like Lair. Like Halo 3, R&C are sticking to the fundamentals that made all their previous games so charming and fun to a generation of gamers. I mean, the only way for it to not be good is if they break from that mold, ahem-Ratchet Deadlocked- ahem.
Shortax, you're probably right in saying that they aren't really compressing. The thing is, they don't have to right now. And because they don't have to focus on compression, they can focus on other aspects of the game. Of course, further down the line, developers aren't afforded that luxury. They'll have to compress like all the 360 games right now.
Unfortunately, Sony has relied on third parties to sell its PS1 and PS2. And still is for the PS3. Hell, I wouldn't have bought a PS3 had it not been for MGS4, a third party title.
Yesterday's article about Capcom was a rumor that was reported as news.
-edit-
Read the damn article. Here, I'll post the first line:
It seems that according to rumors Capcom and SEGA are going to hold off on releasing and developing certain PS3 games as they want to wait and see how the market is after Halo 3 releases on the Xbox 360.
But the thing is going in circles. People won't buy a console unless there are good exclusives and developers won't develop for a console unless there are people that own the consoles. It is like a never ending circle. The only way to solve that is for one side to give.
How? People release director's cuts all the time, how is this any different?
Boogie did pretty bad sales wise. That's why EA made such a hubbub about it a while back. Anyway, if this game passes Nintendos QA, those guys need to be fired. Nintendo cannot let this game be published on its platform in its current state.
The article itself was crap. I wanted to know a solid release date and it didn't provide that. All it did was rehash information that I knew months ago. I'm still looking forward to the blu-ray release though.
Looks cool. So why do 360 owners give a damn if it takes up 22GB? Not like R&C is a multiplatform game anyway so it shouldn't matter to them. And I don't care how much space it takes either. As long as the end result looks good. So everybody chillax about Blu-ray and crap like that.
They are still responsible for hosting the torrent files which lead to the stolen media.
If Square Enix is worried about PS3 success, release a damn game on the PS3 already and help it to succeed. Don't say you're worried if you've done nothing to help it. Look at what it did for the PSP when it finally released a damn game for it! They just have to do the same thing and divert all resources into FFXIII, not split resources into a possible FFVII remake, which would in turn cause development to take even longer.
It is a very nice write up that lays everything out. Plus, no score for fanboys to bicker over. Which is another plus.
