These analysts are so stupid. Halo 3 won't put the final nail in the PS3 coffin, and the 360 was never a bomb. Being able to sell five consoles to the same customer is seen by some as success and I'd see it as success. They have strong market name. Same with the PS3. Being able to sell with no software lineup this summer shows that they have a strong market name as well. Sigh. They should do some better research instead of consulting a random website.

You make a good point and you aren't bashing anyone. I guess when you say something 360 positive you get all agrees like your above comment with 12. But when you say something neutral, like the PS3 won't die that easily, you get 5 disagrees.
This article has nothing to do with technical specs. Its about selling Sony stock because of one game, which IMO is pretty stupid. Counting that 1.5 million as copies sold in 8 hours is kind of cheating. They were already technically sold before the 8 hours even began. 300,000 in 8 hours is plenty impressive.

Final nail in the coffin my ass. The game will sell 360s and be a blow against the PS3 and Wii, but to kill the PS3 entirely? I doubt it. It will take more than one game to do that. And Sony put too much into PS3 development to let it die. If it gets relegated to third place this generation, so be it. Sony won't kill it. They aren't Sega.
