The title should be: Sony could run BC On 40GB PS3s. They just want to be able to finally turn a profit. BC is expensive which is why MS pretty much stopped advancement on software emulation and why Sony doesn't even bother. Jeez. You know what you're getting when you buy a 40gb which is why I bought a 60gb.
Spider-man trilogy ended with a wimper, just like the Matrix trilogy. Thinking about all the wasted potential that the two had makes me angry.
As long as Sony lets the consumer know that there isn't any PS2 BC I'm fine with it. I've already got a 60gb PS3 but I hate ad campaigns that deceive the consumer. Halo 3 "believe" ads, I'm looking at you.

My main beef is with the camapaign. All the epicness and scope generated by the "Believe" ads with none of it actually occuring in the game is a problem. The story isn't that good at places either. So many loose plot threads, e.g. the Cortana afraid of the consequences of what Gravemind may have done to her being dropped like a dead log after a few minutes without being explored, hints of romance popping up all of a sudden without warning, Johnson and Keyes in that post Guilty Spark...

It probably is a day/light cycle difference. The shadows and lighting are different in both vids.
Looks cool, always wanted to play the PS version but couldn't find it. May get this game when I get a PSP.
They own Bungie in everything but name. Bungie still has to give Microsoft first rights on whether or not they want to publish their games and they are still working on some games in the Halo franchise.
The Wii, like the GC, is all about the first party games. After all, they're the only ones that aren't a cheap PS2 port. Not all third party games are bad though. No More Heroes is cool.

Problem with MS skus is that they made a model without a harddrive which really gimps the developers. They have to make the game playable with and without harddrive. All of Sony's skus do have a harddrive so developers can make a game with that in mind. And Sony had to say no to force feedback because of their lawsuit with Immersion. And 98% BC is pretty damn close to %100 BC considering that all the major games work on it. Can't say the same about MS BC or the 80GB PS3 BC.

I agree with a lot of the reviewers beef with the multiplayer. Save for the explosive finale, a lot of the campaign gameplay did not match the epic hype that Microsoft placed on the game through its "believe" ads and their "Starry Night" ad. Hell, the "Believe" ad scene where Chief gets captured by the Brutes isn't even in the game. There were lots of plot holes in the game as well and the campaign was short. I still love the game though. Halo 2's story was prett...
That's nice to know. Just want to know why the hell Sony won't release the DS3 in the states before 2008. Jeez. Games are already supporting it without a patch. Hopefully all the backlash they're taking over this will wake them up and force them to release the controller in the states this year as well.
