Well they took that route with GTAV and it made rockstar hundreds and hundreds of millions. Why would they change anything in GTAVI?
Retaliation? The game has sold more then 9 Million copies, that may not be the number EA was looking for but hardly retaliation.
100% free updates still 5 years after the game released, that's a terrible business model.
There is absolutely no reason why anyone actually has to spend real money on in game purchases either.
I highly doubt the cpu/gpu would be good enough to run most games on steam.

For one you don't need to be connected to the internet to play digital games unless you are game sharing with your friends.

Digital is not the issue, it's the service that is.
I buy digital only and even when the internet is NOT connected I can still play ALL my games.

If the ps4 couldn't handle it then the OGxbox is definitely not going to run sea of thieves well. And that would be a disservice to MS fan base.

Would that mean the switch is going to win gen 9 be default because they are the only ones in it and will most likely have had a 3 or 4 year head start?
I'm sure no one will take that seriously next gen or even consider the switch as a direct competitor to Sony and MS next gen consoles.
