I have been an adult since ps1 was released and in my opinion gaming and consoles has only become better.
This gen, in my opinion, is the greatest gen that I have ever experienced.
You are always going to pay more when financing anything regardless. This is nothing new, cash up front is cheapest obviously.
Now MS fans just have more options...
Have we not beaten this subject to death?
I'm curious why people buy sports games yearly.
I enjoy NHL franchise and I'm still play NHL 16. Why?.... Because I don't play hockey online and I don't feel like buy the same game with just a new coat of paint.
Also rosters are still being updated so other than a few tweeks here and there and the odd new feature, it's still just the same game as the one before.
Asking for cheat codes and being locked offline in single player is one thing. But I am pretty sure most MT's are generally an online multiplayer issue.
Zxcpca500
I would expect most families who game together usually game on the same platform.... at least that's what my family does anyway.
Who buys 2 different consoles and expects to game together?
Not really a reasonable thing to expect if you ask me.
Yes, I wonder what console could possibly even come close... 😆
You might get away with the it's not free argument last gen where you did pay a subscription for games and not for online access.
I don't think I know anyone this gen who pays for plus for the games only to stay offline.
Such a petty argument
So if I were to say " ( pick any race ) is crazy or a terrorist" would that be a racist statement?
Believe it or not people finance consoles from other outlets and pay more over a longer period of time without getting anything other than the console.
Not everyone can afford paying cash up front. For some paying $35 a month is doable instead of $500 upfront.
I've financed my ps4 and my payments are higher at a longer period. I am also Canadian so we pay more for electronics and games to begin with.
5 years ago consumers said no to MS and always online, losing a huge chunk of their loyal fan base.
Does anyone really think that Sony or MS are going to chance doing that again?
That's a big reason why MS is so far behind this gen, I don't think always online will be tried again... at least not next gen anyway.
The way gamers jump on the hate train, if RDR2 is bad you'll hear about it. But I highly doubt that it's going to be a bad game.
Ark?
With it's limited replay value
Sony has never released a console after the holiday season, always before.
Stay on track buddy.
You were talking out your ass about licensing not about bans.
You don't and won't loss your games when the license expires. They pull the game from the online stores but if you have deleted the game you actually are still able to redownload it.
Secondly, I never mentioned anything about bans to you. I am sure some people get banned. But most bans are temperary and if you are one who actually got a permanent ban, the...
Because you don't play off the disc, it downloads to the hard drive. So if your license was digital and you installed it, you could resell the game and still be able to play.
Since when has anyone ever just had there games that they paid for taken away because of licensing?
NEVER
And there is something not right with this story as well. I am willing to bet the gamer in this story isn't being completely truthful about the situation.
I'm sure there are far more people out there who have lost, broken or had their game collection stolen then there are people who have had their account deleted for no apparent reason.
I'm not advocating for a digital only future but like CBaoth said I can't see why both can't coexist.
Things like this are the rare extreme and I didn't read anywhere of an explanation as to why this gamers account was deleted. In fact I have never heard of an acc...
You can have your own opinion and still be objective and give the game a fair score.
Game reviewers seem to have lost all objectivity.
There are ways to review games fairly even if you don't like the dam game.
A score of 4/10 just shows how unprofessional this reviewer is when you consider the scores the rest of the industry is giving it.
