Ubi games aren't good enough to charge an $18 a month USD premium. I live in Canada so it's even more then $20 a month.

I would say the argument is completely subjective, there really isn't more to say than that.
Isn't this game supposed to be beyond "1" solar system? I thought it was supposed to take place in an entire galaxy... maybe I'm wrong. 10 years later and they're still working on the 1st solar system, think about that for a moment.
My kid and all his friends play that franchise, so if you're going to lure that crowd away, then developers need to make something much better then cod, and something that appeals to that crowd .
You don't need to go to the movies either, you can sit on your ass and watch any number of streams but that doesn't make it any better then actually going out.

Being a ps5 owner I'm still waiting for 1st party games that appeal to me. How come everything I'm interested in always seems to be 3rd party?

This is post apocalyptic, Ellie lost her kid and wife regardless, only to let Abby go. This is why the story doesn't make sense.
The story should have ended with her and her family at the farm.... and they lived happily ever after. But no, give everyone up for nothing at all.
