Ubisoft already confirmed that you can play offline once the game installs.
What I find hilarious is you guy's complain about needing an internet connection to install that game. But I didn't see any complaints when you needed an internet connection just to set your console to play your single player games offline.

Well you're on the internet and you needed the internet just to setup your ps5 or xbox .... doesn't most everyone rely on the internet in one way or another?
Doesn't a huge amount of games rely on day one patches to run properly? Sure you can play some games without the patch but are they glitchy broken mess?

Just because a very few games are successful as a live service, that doesn't mean it's the way forward. Very few dev's/publishers have found the winning formula.

Btw , there are only a handful of current gen games on ps5 worth owning. It's delusional to compare a ps5 with 40 games when most of those games would be last gen , to a high end pc.

That doesn't take away from the fact that when this LS fails , that Bend will be dismantled whether Ryan gave the "marching orders" or not.
I foresee Snail games going bankrupt before Ark2 is ever released. Snail games are the worst managers of the franchise and can't even get there buggy upgraded ASA to work well enough to keep the community from abandoning the game.
Most people have left Ark ASA and WildCard/ Snail games are not exactly financially stable.

You don't need to be online to play, which means you're not on any server.
There are other games exactly like that , one which I play and the servers are down after 8 years and I still can play the single player game.
