For one nobody is forcing any dev or publisher to use steam.
Secondly there are well over 100million active users on steam , why wouldn't you want to sell your games there?

Being primarily a digital only buyer that should make it even more of a reason why bc is an absolute must.

I would also like to point out that MS has always been a software focused company. I highly doubt that they will stop manufacturing xbox anytime soon though , and really no one should want that because it pushes all competitors to be better then they are.

Well according to Bethesda the cheats give an unfair advantage over other legit players . F76 is an online only game , of course they won't allow cheating .
