The way EPIC is doing things ,it's their way or highway , there is no choice when a game is exclusive to the epic store.
Regardless the people who buy digital would like to keep one library of games rather then multiple .
EA wouldn't be impressed by those numbers , especially for a 3rd party multiplatform game . Maybe if it was a console exclusive , and yes I know it's only been out for a couple of weeks , but the sales surge has happened and will only slow down now.
I really don't think traditional consoles are going anywhere anytime soon.
Until 5G infrastructure is mainstream without data caps then streaming can only remain limited for most people.
Are they third party AAA games or just Google exclusives / smartphone games ?

Once 5G infrastructure is actually set up and mainstream then I can see this happening. I don't know if it will be mainstream by 2025 though, maybe 10 years.

I guess it would only really matter if you were one of the few who actually used all 3 systems up until now.
In my house we still use the ps3 and vita as well so the cut in content is noticeable, but for most people I doubt it really changes much.
