This is better than anything Capcom has done. They should take note if they want to charge for disk lock content. You can get everything just by playing BF3 for 80+ hours. Capcom should do the same with costumes and characters. Just make it a ridiculous amount of online wins to get them like 5,000 or more. That way there's sure to be those hardcore fans that would want those locked characters right away while the rest just play to unlock stuff.
Did people forget about the two different versions of Ghost Recon coming out?
One for the PS3/X360 (Ghost Recon: Future Soldier) and the other for the WiiU (Ghost Recon: Online). If the WiiU had all this power it wouldn't be getting the version with worse graphics. It would get the same version as the PS3/X360 @ 1080p/60fps or even 1080p/30fps. Instead it's getting another knock off version just like the Wii did with other games this gen. This time it's in 720p. ...
Look at FFXIII-2 and Asura's Wrath. They both have planned DLC endings you can only get online. I wouldn't put it past EA to do the same with ME3.

Valve scrapped cross platform play with PC and PS3 users.

I really hope this isn't true. We need more games in the cyber punk realm. Tired of the post-apocalypse setting.
I don't see how Bioware is compromising their "artistic integrity". They already ruined it when they copied the ending to Deus Ex.
Importing your character from ME1 to ME2 to ME3 doesn't even matter. You could create a new character and play in Action Mode to achieve the same endings. No dialogue trees required. That's my biggest gripe. In ME2 the choices you made didn't change the overall ending of destroying or not destroying the Collector's base; as with ME3's plot for destroying or not destroying the Reapers, but at least in ME2 the choices you made had some impact on the ending unlike ME3's. ...
I'm sorry but the voice feature for ME3 could be achieved with the standard Xbox Live headset. I remember doing that stuff in Rainbow Six 3: Black Arrow on the original Xbox. You don't need a Kinect for voice recognition. It's all done through software, not hardware. Even Tom Clancy's EndWar can do it and that came out this gen some years ago.
You should read up on how Microsoft handles Live Arcade games so they don't go to Sony before and a long time after.
Jesus Christ people. The reason we keep getting the same games over and over is because you want the same. Can't we get some new IPs on the Vita? I'm tired of just rehashes of the same stuff. I thought everybody was tired of companies milking franchises.
It's not F2P. You can play up to lvl 10 then you have to buy it. Last time I checked F2P games let you play as much as you want unless you want more stuff then you pay. They don't just completely cut you off. It's a trial. The download says it's a trial and not Free to Play like DC Universe Online.

I agree. Games on the next consoles might start out at true 1080p/60fps, but after awhile they'll start lowering the frame-rate cap and/or resolution. As they amp up the graphic quality something will have to give so they can get more power out of the systems. After a few years games will go back to the resolutions/frame-rate caps they're in right now. Hopefully not up-scaled. True 1080p/30fps or 720/60fps would suffice but I doubt it. Like you I don't want that up-scaled garbage....
I honestly wouldn't mind true 1080p/30fps or 720p/60fps next gen. I just hate all this sub HD up-scaling to push the graphic fidelity in games this gen. The graphics in the Mass Effect 3 demo @ 720/30fps looks pretty astounding for old hardware. Although it took a long time for consoles to reach this point. I would expect them to be able to do true 1080p/60fps next gen right from the start with the graphic fidelity of ME3 and UC3. Down the road though is when they might start up-scaling a...
Barry has to be the only person that wouldn't call someone Captain Obvious.
The remake was fantastic.
Yea, best game ever. :/

I really hope they don't need to fix bugs for a game that's been in development for 10 years.
