Just wait six months and R* will release the complete edition of this game like they did with L.A. Noire. Learned my lesson the first time.
You were always the coolest of the rangers and stuck by Zordon & Alpha 5 the longest. Much respect.
"Here's my thought on this: Why the hell would I pay $50 to play it on a portable device when I can pay $60 to play it on a large screen TV?"
You answered your own question. You're paying for a PORTABLE CONSOLE EXPERIENCE. That $60 game that plays on a large TV isn't going to be very handy on the road or plane.
"More to the point, why are we being asked to pay twice to play the game on a portable PS3?"
It's...
You're right.

Also.

I'm a fan of the PS3 but not a FANBOY. Some people are getting way too worked up over this trailer.
EA, why do you talk sh_t about Activision then go around and copy their Call of Duty™ Elite business strategy with Battlefield™ Premium? That Golden Poo award was well deserved.
Don't follow the pack. Lead them.
"Tameem flat out said they aren't making the game for fans or the target demographic (i.e. the people most likely to buy the game) but for their own enjoyment."
I remember reading that Zipper Interactive said the same thing about SOCOM 4.
Microsoft's contract with Activision on timed exclusive DLC end this year.

That is unless they announce a renewed contract at E3.
Not really. The PS3 version of Black Ops had frame rate problems that bugged me. You can watch the Digital Foundry and LensofTruth comparisons if you don't believe me. Also, the game ran at an even lower resolution than the Xbox 360 version mentioned in the Digital Foundry article. You're more of the troll by just dismissing what I say as trolling.

Actually in this interview http://www.ausgamers.com/fe... they say you play as Mason's son so I'm assuming that the dude with the tattoos is Woods' son.
Yea, it looked really CG but still a fun video.
To me the guy with the tattoos looks like Woods' grandson. So maybe you play as Mason's grandson and your partner is Woods' grandson, lol. That would definitely be playing it safe.
I'm a PS3 gamer so I have my doubts the game will run at 60fps, lol.
The game uses flashbacks again most likely from Woods telling stories as an old man. It goes from the 80's all the way up to 2025.
I wonder if they're setting Black Ops II in the future like this to compete with Respawn Entertainment's future FPS game coming out next year? Even though it's a long ways away. Just a thought.
Yea, I hope DICE creates a BF3 2143 expansion like they did for Vietnam in Bad Company 2. Maybe after all the other expansions come out they'll do it. Even that dinosaur survival mode everybody wanted would be nice.
The cinematic videos I linked run using the game engine. They're not pre-rendered. We'll see with Halo 4 though. I have high hopes that Halo 4 will look as good as the screenshots I've seen. I just have my doubts. I've been deceived by Microsoft too many times.
I remember the Halo 2 tease video looking really good and that was on the original Xbox. It looked fantastic, but the actual game didn't look nearly as good. Same thing happened with the Halo games for the X360. Here's hoping the actual game looks that good.

A new engine won't fix the game if it plays the same. It'll look nicer, but it'll still be a broken mess when it comes to weapon, perk, and killstreak balancing.
Once the huge spy center is built it'll be able to bypass anything.

I hope this isn't a pic of the old design they scrapped for the slide pads. http://www.nintendolife.com...
The start and select buttons were in the same spot with true analog sticks. Unless Nintendo decided to go with the old blueprint.
