I'm just excited for June 15th all together. MS, EA, Ubisoft, Sony all showing new games. Love it. It almost kind of feels like Xmas morning.

If the author of the article is referring to indie-games, then yes, both consoles can run them at 1080p/60fps. But when it comes to big titles, that's a different story.

You may have a point. If you look at the console marker on the top right, you'll notice that is also changes in quality. That's not supposed to happen. The only thing that should change is the gameplay quality, not the console indicators.
You what's a bigger joke, spending 3-5x the price of a console just so you can get a steady frame rate.
I guess that's why positive xbox comments always get a ton of disagrees.
Since the game won't have a story mode and it will only be released on current-gen, then there is a good chance the game will release on time.
They want to release the game before black friday and Starwars 7 in order to maximize their sales for the last quarter. This has a lot of people concerned because if the game needs more development time, they'll release it unpolished and patch it up later.

If the price is reasonable, and if people are impressed with the new technology, I think it will sell just fine. But that's a lot of 'ifs'. The truth is, it's too early to say for sure.

Well I sure as heck hope so. Other wise there would be no reason to make new consoles more powerful. The only difference we'll see between X1 and PS4 is 900p/1080p. But some people with super human vision will claim to see a difference.
The difference between 30fps and 60fps is more noticeable than 900p and 1080p.
How do you know? Did you work on the development of the X1 and the DX12?
