Either way, there is no need for Sony to pay for exclusive deals. The PS4 is selling well on it's own. Instead of throwing money at AAA developers, they should invest on new IP's.
When you can get a 1080 battlefield hardline running on the X1 but only 720 for this game, you know it's on the devs. But I will say it was probably almost effortless to get it at 1080 for the PS4 as opposed to the Xbone.
They'll always find a way to spin things around and turn into a meaningless clickbait article.
No.. i'm saying don't buy into their b.s. marketing and just buy whatever suits your needs.
C'mon MS and Square Enix, just let the Sony boys play the game holiday 2015. Make the pain go away.
Blah blah blah, and "greatness awaits" with the ps4. Just pick whichever console suits your style and move on.
Like all other companies, MS isn't interested in making 'friends,' they are interested in selling more consoles and software.
The level of butthurt is TOO DAMN HIGH!
So what does it all come down to? Companies make shady choices, deal with it. You don't like it? Then don't buy it! It's really that simple.
But whining and bic**ng about it in every article, copy/pasting old comments is not going to change these business practices. But if it alleviates your rectal discomfort, then have at it.
It doesn't matter if it's a new or old, the point is you're either fair all across the board, or you don't b**ch about it.
I completely agree, but this is N4G. Coming here with all of that logical sense is forbidden by PS fanboys. You either speak kindly of Sony or you get a ton of downvotes, even if you're 100% correct.
See, this right here is the thing that bothers me about N4G. If a game only comes for the PS4, whether it's timed or not, nobody really seems to make a big deal. Announce an exclusive game on the X1, and everybody losses their s**t. What a bunch of hypocrites.
Then why doesn't Sony out bid MS then? It's obvious that this shi**y business model isn't going away anytime soon; so why doesn't sony make the effort to lock up their fair share of AAA games? After all, isn't the PS4 leading in profits this new-gen?
Sure, you can get mad at MS and the developers of Tomb Raider, but lets not be so naive. It's also Sony's fault for not stepping up their game.
Well, the thing about N4G is, if you talk bad about sony or PS, then you're automatically considered a fool. But if you praise them in any way, shape or form, then you automatically get your credibility back.
If there's anybody who should be declaring PS4 the winner of this new-gen, it should definitely be Don Mattrick.
Why him? Because he pretty much gave PS4 the victory with his stupid Kinect ideas, and DRM nonsense. And onced he realized the ship was damaged (so to speak), the SOB jumped ship.
You idiots, MS isn't depending on Tomb Raider to compete with Uncharted. Sure, they expect Tomb Raider to sell well, but IMO, it's Halo 5 who they're really counting on.
Tinfoil hats... tinfoil hats everywhere!
@Studio-YaMi All you did was reword the classic, cliche comeback of "I know you are, but what am I?" But at least now we know the root cause of your hemorrhoid-like symptoms.... fanboyism.
Nothing personal, it's just business. Besides, why doesn't Sony put in the effort to lock up AAA games?
Yes, it will; now calm down. By holiday 2015, I expect there to be around 20M PS4 sold and about 10-15M X1 sold. I just can't see the publisher passing up on millions of potential PS4 and PC sales. I highly doubt X1 payed half a billion bucks just to make this game fully exclusive.
