You asked: what's the point of creating a console if the power of the cloud is so infinite. Well, the Xbox 360 is limited in terms of hardware. And in order to create bigger games, you need a more capable system. Hence, the X1.
So even though the cloud can be used to enhance games, the X1 is still needed in order to provide next gen games for gamers who will not be playing online.

Or maybe the X1 is more powerful than anybody in this site is willing to think. Because in reality, NOBODY knows the final specs of both consoles. Yeah, we know the PS4 will be a best of a console, but we also have to keep in mind that the X1 is pretty powerful too.
And why would MS throw money at EA just to make them say whatever they want? Is MS going to do this for every single game EA puts out? I think the fanboyism has gone to your head, dude. Really.
Well, NFS was shown on the X1 during gamescom, so it would only make sense to show the game on the best console for it. A lot of people probably think it's the PS4 simply because the gddr5 has gotten a lot of hype, but the X1 is also pretty powerful. And since NOBODY here really knows the final specs of the X1, they should't be to quick to crown the PS4 as the most powerful console.... YET.
