If Ryse were a PS4 game, we wouldn't hear the end of it. But since it's for the X1, well.... just read the comments above. The funny thing is, most people haven't even played the game.
Is that his way of saying his machine can only do so much?
What the hell are you talking about? Forza and Titanfall use it right off the bat. Not to mention all or most multiplayer games will use dedicated servers.
You sure? Because it seems whatever you're on is a lot stronger than what i'm using.
Yeah, the PS4 won the price battle right off the bat, but as far as best quality games, service and experience, these factors yet to be determined.
How exactly do you "win" the battle? Is it determined by the number of consoles sold after a 5-10 year mark in order to be declared a winner? And by what margin must one console outsell another? 1 console, 100 consoles, 1000 consoles?
Amazing what an OPINION piece can cause here on N4G. (-_-)
I'm not sure I agree with this article. I love playing battlefield, but the thing is, I only play it on current-console, which is currently limited to shittier graphics, smaller maps and 24 players as opposed to 64. That alone has compelled me to preorder a next gen console.
Not to mention all of the added features that come with the X1 and the PS4. Sure, I can build a decent PC for $700-1000 bucks, but I enjoy not having to worry about updating my hardware every couple o...
This is just stupid. One article will try to show the PS4 might come with some kind of malfunction, and a day later, someone else will upload an old picture of the X1 with a similar problem.
These types of articles aren't meant to show concern, they just uploaded to get fanboys on both sides rallied up. Let's act like emotionally stable adults and wait a couple of weeks for the consoles to release.
He played a demo, of course it was boring. But I love how all of the fanboys rally around the article.
Now that.... was cool.
and thank you for proving mine. Have a good day, sir.
Insecure much?
The irony is too damn high.
Regardless, it's going to take developer a while before they master the X1 hardware. And unlike the X1, the learning curve for the PS4 is quite smaller. This would explain why COD Ghost runs 720p on the X1 and 1080p on the PS4. The technology for the X1 is there, it's just a matter of knowing how to use it.
You own a PS4? Give me a break. People aren't really "offended" as you naively seem to believe; hell, most of them couldn't even give a rat's a** if xbox at some point used pc footage. It's the headline of the article that gets the fanboys of N4G all rallied up, not the content.
Because early builds of DLC's are always perfect... said no one ever.
Who cares? I was watching the live stream of US vs EU match and the graphics looked amazing. If the xbox was using PC graphics to advertise the xbox 360 version, then yes, we have a problem. But after watching the X1 multiplayer match, it's pretty hard to tell the difference between PC and X1.
I hate to beat around the bush so i'm just gonna be straight forward and say it: yeah, the PS4 has the edge in graphical power, but i'm still gonna buy the X1 and I could really careless about what anybody else thinks.
I'm not getting the X1 because I believe it will deliver the best looking games, I'm getting the X1 because I enjoy keeping up with my favorite sports teams and multi-tasking while playing a game, watching netflix, or regular tv.
As much as I hope they fix these issues, knowing DICE's history with patches, they'll probably screw up something else in the process.
