Im going to have to buy this on 360 as most my friends getting this are going to be on 360...
although for disc purposes etc.. I'd rather get it for my PS3. Is it true the PS3 version even gets an extra game on the disc?

I cannot wait to get this game. Getting this for 360 as they say it's better, I already kinda figured it would.
But I like that PS3 is getting R3 as more people tell me it's actually good compared to R2 (I personally didn't like it at all). Im actually thinking Im going to buy it!

Borderlands has become a huge IP... and so was Left 4 Dead...
This game combines those 2. Sounds amazing to me! I liked the concept behind Borderlands, just couldn't find it in me to finish... the zombie concept should keep me facinated to finish!
Ive got Gears 3 paid off and seriously cannot wait...
but Im super stoked for Dead Island as well, because it's a new/fresh IP. Something we've needed more of this gen.
With me being a big L4D fan, I hope Dead Island improves/builds more upon L4D's concept and makes it an even better expierence.... Im pumped for it!
Only game Im holding out on is Resistance 3, I'll redbox it or something 1st. Cause I didn't like R2 that mu...
I totally forgot R3 was coming out actually. But I loved 1 hated 2. I want to see where they go with 3 before I buy it. Because of the last game it's just not must buy for me... but it is lingering on my radar. I want to see what they fix/improve upon that made me dislike 2 so much, before I buy it!
$60 ain't cheap and with how were being flooded with games, Im spending more wisely!

Dead Rising 1 was a good try but the saving/timed manor of the game butchered its playability! were not going to talk about 2.
Lost planet if taken more seriously could've been awesome... the graphics were certainly there! and again were not going to talk about the 2nd ...
MK I feel deserves a honorable mention for GOTY. As it is a legend in its field and has rose back to glory after being stagnant for so many years!

Im personally getting Dead Island over this because R2 left a bad taste in my mouth and I wasn't impressed as it took steps back compared to R1. Not saying R3 is going to be bad, it just has a lot to prove to me before I'll buy it right off the bat. It don't help that I don't hear much good of the mulitplayer beta too, as online is what keeps me going back to most games!
This just might sway me to switch my pre-order to the PS3 version... but Im a sucker for FPS's with that 360 controller... 8/
I wouldn't mind another Xbox... but this gen burnt me so much on 360 failures, to where Im buying my PS first next gen before my Xbox.
But IF I can afford it like I have this gen. I'll still own BOTH regardless. Cause I know I'd be missing out on plenty of great games... had I not had both consoles this gen!
