People wanted some COD in their DUKE... I think that's the problem too!
I was a big Duke 3D, BLOOD, and Shadow Warrior fan back in the 90's. Im digging the game cause it's a straight up throwback homage to the old school fans...
The ones with the biggest problems with this game probbly were too young to play those PC titles back in the day. I also think the ones old enough that did, need to look at it as a Duke game... and not what they wanted... ...
it don't suck... you're just missing out on having "good ole' fashioned fun" (Human Giant reference) haha!
This is definatley 1 particular game that it's cool to jump on the hate bandwagon. I bought it tuesday and I DON'T regret it. It's a very fun light hearted expierence. People are too enveloped in graphics amongst other s#!t this gen that they let some good games get by. I will say the game isn't amazing, but it's definatley good. The graphics ARE next gen, just not up to current standards... more like PREY graphics. But in no way has anything detracted me from having a fun...
but I must say it's kinda funny how Sony Fanboys want a hack on MS to go down now!
you do it every night you play online with friends with your headset on already anyways right? just saying!
the upside to this is that the PS2 textures won't strain my eyes now on my 52" Bravia... that's the thing for me that makes BC a pain in my ass. But having this classic franchise redone in confortable HD will be a great addition to my collection.
but we as gamers have unfortunately been bent over with this gen of gaming. Theres a lot in the gaming industry that I've found to be pretty shameful this gen!
crossplatform on the game was the huge selling point they tried to pitch. But the game bombed... I wonder if that left a bad taste in MS's mouth? but that's more the games fault not the functualitys fault...
Maybe Shadowrun was the 1st reason MS feels it's not viable for their console... gotta give them credit that at least they did TRY it!

Microsoft and Sony BOTH are slacking on the support for their motion devices... I feel duped considering theres only 1 game I've tried to play while using it and I didn't like it... and that game was KZ3!

multiplat purchases to 360 versions... starting with Brink!
this is almost a no brainer 360 purchase for me... not even owning Bulletstorm and having the Gears 3 Beta this whole time has gotten me to turn on my 360 in forever... this just might be THAT game that makes me do just that!
tired of f**king waiting and my 60gig's bluray drive is crapping out on me. Count me majorly bummed considering I've been bouncing between crysis 2, mortal kombat, and portal 2 on my PS3...
