Still need to play the first one. It is just sitting on my shelf, waiting...
Same thing I was thinking. They seem too similar to deal with both, and at the moment, APB looks to be the winning title.
Might be a good time to try these. Not much coming out in the near future.
Do you know how many franchises would have died if they didn't rehaul them from time to time? Granted, not every franchise can be masterfully kept alive like Mario Bros, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be attempted if the audience remains.
It was never dead...
I love Wolverine, but I am hardpressed to get over movie tie-in games.
I disagree, my Day 1 Dreamcast is still running, as is my copy of MvC2. In other news, not playing MvC2 leads to swine flu.
I'd place a good bit of blame on marketing. The publishers focus on a few titles each month to push, and for the general gaming public - for the most part not anyone reading/commenting - that is all the hear about. They head to their local store and just go with what they know.
Word of mouth titles are some of the best I have ever played.
I played MvC2 too much as well.
The PS2 port was TERRIBLE. Dreamcast FTW.
I wish FEAR2 had a little more Alma in it, but it managed to be great and scary even if there were mechs.
AC is still in the shrink wrap...
Yea, SecuROM and that dept of Sony can burn in hell.
I love Riddick, but Wheelman is a pass for me.
I hate the games that take them out and then leave you no mobs to grind on, although that is far less common. The newer Tales titles does it well, they are random, but you only battle if you run into the mob, so you can actually dodge them. Or the Paper Mario series.
A pirated copy != a sale.
Despite piracy, companies that support their product after sales (looking at you Crytek who stopped patching Crysis almost immediately) generally don't get hammered by piracy as much. Stardock and Valve as two prime examples.
Thank you for treating me as a customer 2D Boy!
I'd hate to get all semantics on you, but you are LEGALLY allowed to play any game, despite your age. The ratings are voluntary.
Anywho, with the ridiculous amount of DSs solid to date, I am fairly certainly that a large portion are of age. I finally got the game myself (damn snail mail) and am enjoying it something fierce. Has made me LOL a few times to boot.
Yea, that would be too much. I mean yea they could explain it away some how, but I wouldn't want it no matter what.
One of those series that I missed...
To. Many. Fighting. Games. Not Enough Sticks!
