It isn't out for another week, how exactly do they have a legitimate copy already to be so well informed?
Can't believe New Super Mario Bros. Wii didn't make the cut.
So many games have meaty stories till the climax, and then it all just falls apart. Sometimes the game has the boss battle itself be the epilogue (or the boss' death), and many, as the article states, don't even bother. Then there's the hidden epilogues that have to be unlocked, occur after the credits or beaten a second/third time (see Eternal Darkness).
I hate those.
I am gonna put down whatever I am playing ATM for Mass Effect 2. I've been really excited to play it since demoing it at E3.
I still think Darksiders is not getting enough attention. Failure on THQ's part, or the medias?
I love great nerdy pieces like this. He could have went in so many directions based upon the intro, all of them appropriate.
I am shocked that there was no Borderlands love in there. It was one of the most successful new IPs to come out.
Most enjoyable Wii game this year.
It started as a computer game though...
I bought my Limited Edition. I just hope it lasts longer than my previous scifi MMOG, Tabula Rasa.
Weakest December in quite some time IMO.
BFG and Cerebral bore ftw!
It's sad that EVERYTHING is about speed in video game journalism at the moment, from reviews to news. I'd love for things to change, but there are numerous things holding it back. Great article.
Alice was fantastically "original," if that makes any sense.
Remember the old late 80's/early 90's show where kids answered video game trivia, played mini games and then got to run through a gauntlet grabbing all sorts of games and merchandise? THAT was awesome (as a game show).
This sounds awesome as a more informative, educational experience on the complex nature of video games and the industry.
It's Nintendo games in general. Take a look at the new Mario & Luigi game, tutorials till almost the very end!
Level -1 ftw!
With so many companies trying to clone the success of DotA - Demigod, League of Legends, Heroes of Newerth - I think it's safe to consider it a new genre.
The hilarious "story lines" in Street Fighter IV come to mind. At that point at least let us know the you are mocking yourself so we know for sure!
The inclusion of Keyboard Cat sold me on this game. Now to find which puzzle the lovable kitty solves...
Also, TGR is now racist by association.
That's a bug in the demo, I'd assume that Rebellion will have a day 1 patch out. The bug was already fixed on the PC version, but that version had a head start since it was caught on that platform first.
