He wasn't in charge. He was a chairman and founder, not the CEO or producer. In addition, the employees that have talked have largely said the opposite.
Beta is going well but the game definitely needs more balance. Early game needs to be sped up a bit too.
They definitely learned from that. I can't see duping being possible more than the incredible short term.
Not sure I agree with the writer's expectations regarding botters/farmers inability to ruin the AH. You know they're going to try.
I wonder what the female hit boxes will be like, when they're finally added, that is.
I only play PvE in MMOGs when it's well designed. It rarely is. Once WoW killed World PvP in vanilla, I stopped.
I didn't make it, but a buddy did so I will be spending far too much time at his house soon.
The hype and promises can easily outweigh the achievements. It's a thin line for a game's marketing to manage.
Gorgeous indeed. Upgrade worthy.
As a long-time RTS player, I agree, End of Nations has me pumped. Guild Wars 2 is definitely on my play list as well.
Tactical MMO with the anime art confuses me.
So many different words used for worms.
Then how do you know what you're missing? I tend to concentrate all my efforts on one character per game, but always have a backup in case I get pissed off at my guild or something.
Should we expect these to come every week as more and more people sign?
I wish the author took the article a little farther, mentioning upcoming F2P games, what he expects from them and stuff like that. It's a good topic, but the discussion was too short. Maybe there will be a follow up...
I remember being so disappointed at PoP: Sands of Time end boss and ending. To me I feel like we deserve more. We've put all this time and effort in getting here, I want something cool at the end. Sure, the journey matters (it's obviously what I remember fondly), but it soils the experience if it's just "The End."
Actually, I'd rather that than some of the "endings" we get.
Gears of War and GoW2 are two prime examples of games that really should have been longer. That's partly because of the entire lack of story, but I felt the company could have done a lot more with the gameplay as well.
Definitely an odd bundle, I guess Sega just wanted to try and popularize UAW more?
I'm sure the sequel coming out tomorrow has nothing to do with it :p
It was also in the trailer during the conference.
