Well console sales didn't keep Sony from losing 26% of its operating income, closing studios, layoffs, etc.....It's not like Sony is doing great with those console sales. Smh

I couldn't wait fir the first one ti come to PC. I played it and was disappointed. I'm not surprised the second one didn't do well.

How long di you think it will be before Sony releases all of its games on PC and PS5 at the same time?

Since they don't have any 1st party games coming out this year I think it may start with their first title next year.

I don't think so. Microsoft seem pretty stable and are looking to buy more studios. That way they are helping to stabilize the gaming industry .

@raW
The reason they hate it now is because when Microsoft put games on PC Sony fans would say "Xbox has no games. " But, I don't hear them saying that anymore especially when Sony doesn't have any 1st party games scheduled till next year.

For some reason they feel games are better if they are only on PlayStation and when it goes to PC they feel less special .

What do you mean? The same way R&C could only be played with PS5's "SUPER fast SSD then even PCs with a slow mechanical hard drive was able to play it. PCs will be OK. Smh

@theenigma
The same can be said if not worst about Sony. Who lose $2 billion of value, lose 26% of there operating income, missed sales goal by 4 million, and has no 1st party games coming out till next year? Console sales are not helping Sony. They are a much smaller company and how long can they afford to lose so much money?

744d ago 4 agree27 disagreeView comment

Why do we keep talking about console
sale, Sony sales didn't prevent Sony from loosing 26% of their operating income, layoffs, closing studies, and loosing @ $2 billion of its value after missing sales goals by 4 million

@sonic
What does that have to do with what @BeHunted said. It's sounds like a deflection.
Like I have been saying Sony is not doing well and I hope they get back on track. No, first party AAA games for a year , layoffs, 26% drop in operating income,
etc..

First smart decision was to follow Microsoft to PC with games day and date.

They were leaving too much money on the table.

It makes since for Sony to bring everything to PC. They finally realized consoles owners alone can't support the company. And they are leaving a lot of money on the table.

@Philly
You maybe right. Look how poorly Helldiver 2 is doing.
I found people are more vocal about not liking or wanting something when they can't have it. Now that these games are multi platform it will test my theory and finally end these fan boy console war.

Someone please explain the down votes.

Now Sony is going to release games day and date on PC. So, can we say "PS5 has no games!" Because they are on PC like they have been saying for years when Xbox did it. It just show Microsoft was playing the long game and leapforded Sony like they said. Now Sony is going to have to play catch up.

Is this worst than the petition to bring Starfield to PS5?

They are both on PC so, there are more ways to play these games. I'm curious since all the games will be on PC, how it effect console sells next generation. None of them will have " Exclusives ".

761d ago 3 agree17 disagreeView comment

They talk alot about helldivers sales on steam but, what are the sells on PS5?

762d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

@digital
I was talking about the topic. Sony is know for their 1st party games and the fact that they don't have any for the next year is troubling. Did you check out their stock? It had lost $10:billion dollars of value after their poor financial report.

Those are the things that's some if the things that makes " Sony look shakier than it has in years. " like the title says.

That's why they are now trying to follow ...

@pirch
How many are those games are 1st party games made internally? How old is the last of us 2?

763d ago 16 agree31 disagreeView comment

It's this a 3rd party game that Sony paid for? So, why is called PlayStation's? This is not a Sony 1st party studio right?
I might try it on my PC once everything stabilizes.

@_silverHawk
Did you miss when Sony missed their console sales target by 4 MILLION? What about Sony's operating income dropping by 26%? That means they have over 25% less money for R&D, game development , etc... Those numbers are straight from Sony. Sony is not doing as well as you pretend. That is why they are looking for new revenue sources because PS5 and PS5 only games sales are not making it.
