You need money when you start building arcade machines that cost 30-45 grand a pop.
If Namco uses the PS3 tech in their cabinets, watch as arcade owners start using the PS3 games in the cabinet instead of the actual crap that Namco sells them. PS2 DDR anyone?? it'll cost ya 50 cents a play at a Time Out!
Nintendo a joke? I think not.
One of the only companies now making money off it's launch sys, titles, and accessories.
Paper Mario will probably sell out this week.
I have a feeling the Wii and the new black Wii will be hot xmas gifts this yr.
Along with iPods, new tvs, and maybe something elmo related.
With current sales at 6.58(VGCharts) I'm thinking Nintendo might hit 7 mil by the end of the month.
June will be a big month ...
Will this all change when the Elite drops?
I think it'll def. help the HD-DVD numbers.
I still like the HD-DVD hybrid discs now!
HD on one side and reg DVD on the other side!
Best of both worlds and keeps folks from buying twice!
So I wonder if this game will hit the Wii eventually then?
Basically this is all caused by a cable Sony didn't include with the PS3.
So besides paying out the nose for a PS3 in the UK, folks will end up paying another fee just for a cable Sony didn't include...
So thats what around $850 USD for a UK 60GB and then probably $20-30 for a cable.
By an extra controller or game and your already doing grand or more....
Sony should just fix the issue and give folks the cable.
Not by looking at those pics.
Looks like CGI type anime to me.
Or:
Are you a girl or a boy? Are you legal and if so would you like to meet at Gamestop?
Yeah everyone loves that.
Our Sony rep said," we're not selling the 20GB anymore."
We couldn't even order it. The sku disappeared around the end of Jan.
I'm surprised this is just making the news now.
I think Sony got rid of the 20GB because of slow sells and it cost them more to make the 20GB over the 60GB. At least thats what I read on some of the tear downs I've seen.
I keep thinking whats the point of some console games when most end up right on the PC shelf or are just PC ports to console to begin with.
It's only emu game so I bet you can play anything emu on the Apple TV.
I know it can do at least up to the 16 bit - 32 bit era.
Whats the point of showing games that haven't even got a title yet!?!
An damn GT5 won't even come out for another 8-10 months!
Will the game ever come out?? Maybe for x'mas 08.
Looks like a rip off of the old Atari Jaguar controllers. MS just added letters this time around.
The only issue I had with RS was the zooming in issue.
It should've only been a button press or a d-pad press instead of a button press with a forward motion.
Well apparently to over 1.4 million gamers(US alone), Zelda is fun. It should hit over 2 million sold by the end of this yr.
Square will eventually go Nintendo.
Wii has market share and more market share means more money.
Square is already making non-gaming apps for the DS.

GameCube on the DS Lite II?
I could see it coming in a yr or two maybe three.
DS Lite II?
Sony only loses around $241 on the 60GB system.
Even if Sony cut costs I can't see that alone justifying a $100 price drop, which would negate any or all cost savings they just endured.
Sony just recently slashed prices on the PSP to just keep up with the ever growing sales of the DS Lite.
(Now everyone that bought a PSP will probably be abit put off by that fact.)
According to Sony's website they haven't even put out a 4th qtr release for 06' yet.
I'm betting this is a 3rd qtr FORECAST (Sony's predicting) what it believes to do in 07'.
They did a forecast for 06 around this timeframe as well.
As for MS loses.
Well MS initially lost around $126 bucks per 360 on launch. Now, they make around $70 bucks on every $399 360 they sell.
Nintendo at launch is making approx. $40+- bucks of each console i...
Get over it.
Japanese like more interactive games.
Even when they play online they don't chit chat and brag.
