Talked to a Wally World Dist Manager
He said 3-4 HD DVD players are coming to Wally-World this fall.
1 made by them and supposedly 3 made by other parties.
He didn't know which format though.
He called it rumors on the grapevine at Wally World Corp.

If everyone chose different formats...we could see a low cost Format War coming this X'mas.
I have no idea at this point.
Seems like a free for all over there.

Well according to their website they buy reading and writing lasers from TDK. It also appears TDK does some R&D for them as well.
The site also talks about a new factory that they just completed.
The Fuh Yaun Electronic Science factory.
The company in question currently makes up-conversion HD DVD players.
This company goes public mid-June.

My Wii controller lasts around 24-30hrs on a set of batteries.
Though if your surf a lot it goes down to 18-20hrs on a set of batteries.
I just buy cheap no-name batteries.
It apparently stopped working, so the guy smashed it.
I found it on some PS3 forum.
But the PS3 controller is mostly empty expect for the board and the battery.
