No, because no one really uses discs anymore for movies. They use Netflix and Hulu.
99% don't buy DVDs or Blu-Rays. Netflix isn't the future anymore, it is the present. The dominant format.
But not everyone has or wants a PS4 Pro.
This way we can get HDR games even on the regular PS4 at 1080p. Xbox One S already supports this but you need the S-model. Older Xbox One consoles can't do HDR.
1080p HDR is possible.
This will benefit those who have a PS4 but don't want a Pro. Just because we have a 4K TV, it doesn't mean we want to spend more for the PS4 Pro.
Not really.
It just shows the PS4 was carefully designed to be future-proof unlike the Xbox One.
If you want to save $100.
There is no confusion at all on the messaging.
The conference was boring and unnecessary. That's it. PS4 is winning everything.
Nope.
If anything is rushed, its the announcement of the very far away, likely-to-be-delayed Scorpio.
Neo is right on time. 3 Years after the original PS4 release. You couldn't ask for better specs for $399.
It's pretty much irrelevant. The people disliking the videos aren't even interested in the games at all. Future or modern.
So their opinion is irrelevant.
Game delays happen all the time to both 1st and 3rd parties. There is nothing "worrying" about it.
There is no "collaboration" with Apple. It's just "first on iOS".
A timed-exclusive. Money-hat.
Apple has no say in the development of this game in any way. In fact the game will be a paid title, not a free download. This is something that obviously Nintendo decided themselves.
There is a trade-in program. There always is. Gamestop will handle it.
The sky is blue.
Tv must really suck. Does it even have HDR? 4K is useless without HDR.
It really is. The mobility alone is what makes all the difference.
They are not making a GO clone.
Ugh. What are you, 12?
Don't read too much into this.
It's just PR.
Are you posting this on every article? Is this your way of asking for a ban or something?
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I don't care. The only Blu-Ray I ever bought was The Avengers and that was when I had a PS3.
For those that care for UHD Blu-Ray, maybe PS4 Pro isn't for you. Buy a dedicated UHD Blu-Ray player or an Xbox One S. If you're anything like me though, you buy PS4 for games.
