I think it has a much better chance honestly, it has cool lore they can expand on, unique presentation/art, and the one thing bungie always nails is the gameplay feel. That being said they should expand on the game sooner than later, it's already chin deep in a severely oversaturated market, it's gonna need quite a bit more to stay afloat. I think it would've made more money outright to make marathon a sp ip but that's just me

You placed an ok game on a grand stage and wanted it to be a showstopper from the get go, when an appropriate plan wouldve been to stay humble until you get some traction and could build it into something great.
