On multiplayer, maybe. However, on single player it will be no contest, as Gears will probably be too short again. As for storyline, the comparison is not even fair for Gears of War 2. It's like Comparing G.I. Joe to Saving Private Ryan.

The game looks amazing, just like the pictures in the february issue of game informer. The chimera have a nice scary new look. The game looks much better lit than the last one and the textures look more detailed. I could see huge enemies one one hand and lots of them on the other. The game still has a few months till it is launched, so I don't doubt the final product will be absolutely awesome.

Sadly for Namco, not for us. It is their loss actually, it's not like it is the best RPG ever, not even close. If they want RPG fans money, the money is on PS3. If not they can keep waiting because it's not like Eternal Sonata is worth buying a 360 for those that don't have it. I do have a 360 but I want it on PS3 since it is my main console, and if not then I can wait until it's way cheaper on 360, don't need to play it urgently.

Not buying then. I want the complete version which I know exists, not the crippled one. If the Japanese version has the english language included then I'll import, but if Namco forces me to do that then I'll import only used games. If the Japanese version doesn't include the english language, I'll have to buy a used 360 version, I just hope it doesn't get scratched like my Rainbow Six copy.
