PS3 made twice the money the Wii made (153 million versus 75 million) for EA the last fiscal year despite the fact that Wii has twice the install base. That is very telling on the "fad" issue, especially considering that the Wii (excuse for a) console is not only nearly half as cheap, but so are the games.

Tell me any innovation made by Halo 3 for the FPS genre as far as single player goes.

In fact I like all mortal kombats except Mortal Kombat 4; I loved mythologies. Sure, the best was MK Trilogy and most mortal kombats prior to it are better than the ones that came after 4, but I still love the storyline. IT was horrible that they took away most of the finishing in favor of looks, but the music, fighting styles and storyline compensated, not enough, but at least a bit.
