Turok replaced Haze on my must get list for 2008. What with all the delays and poor release date handling by Ubi and FR. Propaganda has done a good job with Turok for both PS3 and 360. I'll be plugging in the Blu-Ray version day 1 and playing this game.
You know, if they've been "slaving away at it", where the hell are new screenshots or gameplay videos of an obviously improved engine. Where is some new story or gameplay mechanics information? Where is a release date from the devs or at least a release window. Notice how quick they were to jump right back Timesplitters 4?

Gabe is fat and lazy, but Orange Box for PS3 still turned out to be very good. Framerate inconsistancies only occur in remote, non-combat oriented areas. They're not even bad.

It's like watching an episode of 24. I won't say anything bad about it cause I love FF and the last time I tried to diss FF changing I ended up saying bad things about what ended up being my favorite FF of all time (XII). I'll just wait to see what this is like.

Well, this all but confirms Sony kicked MS's booty worldwide again in sales. This time, by what...70,000? That's 5 straight weeks right? If this keeps up:
70,000 x 52 weeks = 3,640,000
units closer to XBOX360 Sony will be by the end of 2008 and that doesn't even include the possible effects of LBP, MGS4, KZ2 and FFXIII hype on sales. That's about 1/2 the lead MS has on Sony right now in the console wars so you'd think by the end of 2009, Sony will have caught up ...

This reminds me more and more of Lair. Delayed, delayed and in the face of poor previews (just read IGN and 1up for that). Demo, maybe, no, possibly....then no demo. No consistant communication, no new info outside of story and gameplay foundations....just like Lair. Scared to show the game. I've got bad feelings about this one.
Oh well. I'll be too busy playing Turok and GT5 Prologue to care anyways. Ubisoft lost my purchase when this thing was guaranteed not to be out in 200...

I wonder how things will look when LBP, MGS4, KZ2 and GT5 all hit this year with FFXIII on the way? And when you consider that the only console that will sell in Japan for DMC4 will be the PS3....I think it's time for MS to start wetting themselves.
First off, this whole arguement is based on screenshots. No definitive gameplay footage and no chance for game sites to get their own screenshots from their own gameplay experience. Okay, guess that's fair. Bet most of the motion blur screens for the 360 came AFTER the game's release. I doubt the PS3 version is going to be any different. I'm not so sure about this game. Bad vibes all around for it in previews and such. And don't be so hung up on who's developing it people. Remember Lair? Yeah, Factor 5 sure is a reliable developer now aren't they?
Anyways, my PS3 will be too busy in March playing GT5: Prologue.
I've defeated Half-Life 2 and have moved on to Episode 1 and I still have yet to encounter any serious issues...could just be me, but I was expecting PS2 Killzone lag all over the place from initial reports and I've run into nothing of the sort. Don't know yet what all the fuss was about. If they patch it, then so be it. I don't even mind the loading times despite many claiming them to be unacceptable.
Still haven't played Episode 2 though....that could be where I start raisin...
