What the author fails to realize is when Sony upped the Ram from 4 to 8GB it made a huge difference. The UI would've still taken up a a couple of GBs if it had been 4; so now instead of say 2.5 GB of ram we have 5.5GB of ram just dedicated to the developers. Sony and MS have both upped their game, and once next-gen starts Nintendo is really going to struggle to procure quality 3rd party games for the WiiU.
You're completely wrong. Killzone is very much a skill based game. My K/D ratio in Black Ops 2 MP is 1.67, and my K/D in Killzone is a 1.18. It was a lot higher until a week ago when I thought I'd start playing it again(bad decision) got my ass handed to me. I went something around 3 kills and 24 deaths. After two days I was going positive again. Killzone is very much like Halo, if you step away for to long be prepared to take an ass whoopin.

I don't even understand the purpose of this game... Is it trying to be God of War??? In all honesty I was curious about this game until I saw the Jupiter attack. Animations and hit detection can be fixed, but for a game that looked like it was trying to portray ancient Rome authentically to have God powers just pisses me off. What a blatant rip off of God of War. I'll still get a Xbox One, but it wont be until maybe a month before Halo comes out.
I hope you were in diapers during the PS2 era because Sony did the exact same thing to MS back then and we all know how that turned out(they whipped MS handily). I think this generation Sony is back on it's A game; they realized that being arrogant isn't enough. The PS4 is better, cheaper, and will have MANY more exclusives than MS. You go ahead and enjoy your so called "set up" now, meanwhile I'll be enjoying games.

I would say it would probably allow you to hear through the headphones and chat using your mic. I know with games like The Last Of Us using my turtlebeach headset that I can hear in game audio as well as chat with friends during the game. Seeing as how the PS4 is more advanced I don't think you'll have a problem. You should be able to adjust the in game audio volume as well as chat volume too. At least that's how my headset works.
Yeah, the ps3 has the audio select feature, but it'll be much easier for a lot of people to be able to plug in their iphone earbuds directly into the controller. After all who doesn't own a iphone or an ipod?
Awesome feature, I also like how they showed game audio coming through the controller itself. Like the Infamous:SS video where they showed the alarm from him putting his hand on the conduit detector, and all the cool touch features in Infamous. God I wish it was a launch title, but I'll have plenty to play come Nov. Thank god for Diablo 3 and GTA 5 this month cuz I def need something to make this wait a little more bearable.
Halo doesn't need to be open world. It's already a huge sanbox type of game. Games like Crysis and even the upcomiing Killzone are designed and took a lot of inspiration from the original Halo. Huge(not open world) enviroments that allowed the player to tackle an objective in multiple different ways. Thats one of the best things about Halos campaign, and I really think it will make Killzone a much better game. Not that I didn't like Killzone(platinumed Killzone 3) but it's nic...
I agree, in my opinion they succeeded in making Master Chief feel more human, and not as one dimensional. I always wished they could make the Master Chief as likeable as he is in the books. The books are amazing by the way. I may be more of a PS guy but I can't deny that when it comes to Halo, especially the MP I will always be there day one.

I'm doing the exact same thing. I have a friend that played it on PC, but wants to get it again on PS3 because there is no AH and he wants to play it with me. All we need is two more people for co-op and we're set... Can't wait til Monday!!!
How awesome would it be if consoles were like blu-ray players? They could both still be made by very different companies and have unique features and accessories, but both would play the exact same movies. Man, I just wish that both MS and Sony would leave third party publishers out of their business plans. On the MS side of the scale it just makes them look lazy. Instead of creating new and exciting games they throw money at third party devs to stop the release of games and DLC content on playstation consoles. MS had zero creative input, and they're still not the one taking the risk. EA and Respawn are crossing their fingers hoping it works out in the end.

I really don't care what they announce, they sold me on the PS4 back in February when they showed Killzone, DriveClub, and Infamous Second Son. Plus, I know a lot of people complained that there were to many indie games shown at Gamescom, but I happen to LOVE indie games just as much as AAA games so it was perfect for me. Now I'm really excited and intrigued by "Everybodys gone for the rapture" though the title is way to long...lol Wish I would fall into a deep sleep and wak...

I love Heavy Rain, and my PS3, but it would be better if more people could experience it regardless of their platform of choice. Man, I'm just about fed up with this whole "console war".
