I want to like the division, but over the shoulder makes me dislike it and the recent footage was a bit jerky.
It'll take a good FPS to move me away, but i relly want to do something else first person pvp too but it needs to be new.
Ive been playing from day 1 but the state of PVP is disgraceful!
Trying to get skill based connections with people from all over the world as opposed to having an internet based connection speed to match your own, has completely ruined all hope I have for it until they announce a major update.
Problem is there is nothing new PVP wise to take it's place until Overwatch or Battleborn comes out. Sigh!
Bungie have clearly let go of this game now and a focussing on the next one. PVP has been busted /borken for a month now with glitching, server problems and lag switchers now everywhere.
Im concerned for D2. They couldnt even make a binch of new exotic weapons for Year2. Even to the point where they had to give in and recycle old favourites. Xur can only sell 1 per fortnight now, and its not because there are so many linked to quests and unlockables now, those guns are anemic...
Thought it was supposed to be releasing November 2016... last i heard anyway
Definately need dedicated servers. Multiplayer is shockingly bad at the moment. No idea what the pre Christmas patches did but certainly stuffed up more than normal. Sniper headshots not registering, stuck in mid air titan smashes, people running through walls... there is a long list atm
".. costumers' difficulties"
So people are dressing up and having wardrobe issues?
Isnt this the fabled SteamBoy.
Sometime 2016 supposedly
What a stupid article. Who cares who does the voicovers, its just a tone.
They just need to get anybody from staff that has the right sound and spend the $50,000 they would have spent on a paid actor on a staff release day party.
I cant believe they pay money to these people for a voice.
I have never understood the character creation thing. You can spend hours making your face just right to never see it again in the game.
This is not a nba game where there are camera closeups after a play or a dunk, so why bother wasting time programming something so indepth when you wont look at your face again after the setup is done.
Hmmmm...
If it plays big ticket games on the road I'd consider it if it was more reasonably priced. Fallout, Skyrim, Withcher or the bigger games would need to run and a full set of buttons would be good.
However if it only plays the host of indie titles like your Meat Boys or Binding of Issac and mobile games like angry birds etc, I'll stick with the mobile phone, Vita or 3ds thanks.
I thought it was Geez?!?
"Perhaps that was the opposite conclusion I was supposed to draw, but with all my LFG experiences, I couldn’t help but shake one constant thought. There was nothing about any of these pairings that could not have been achieved with in-game matchmaking. You can say “have mic” all you want, and people will still show up without one. You can say “be experienced,” and people will be clueless. You can reject applicants to your group if they don’t meet your criteria until you’ve crafted a drea...
I was excited about this 2 years ago. Now seems overpriced and looks like it will be an unfinished project indefinitely!
I agree with this article and I have said this before in forums. The whole missive bounties need an overhall and the Gally should be a hard one.
Most people can get the so called OP Thorn this way which has ruined Crucible for many, getting the Gally only really affects PvE so it should be easier and available
Its a good thing for pc gamers as New Vegas was quite broken, so they need to sort things out at a base level.
They will iron out all the wrinkles for all versions and then mods will kick in allowing it to run on PC at 60fps.
If its broken at 60fps what chance does any pc owner have of sticking with it. Start off with the basics and get it right to the best of your ability and then allow it to hit full flight. Seems logical to me
Maybe we should get other rewards for being loyal.
There's a tonne of us with hundreds of hours that don't have a certain exotic rocket launcher, there is probably a tonne that have never seen all the exotic guns either. If we had a request to receive reward menu, I think it would make people less bitter. It'd do me, however for some, it wont be good enough.
With Fallout 4 just around the corner, things like this are not keeping me interested, so ...
Well there goes my week of October 12 theory. I think this may be a holding place now as im sure I had info on October, so hopefully no more delays.
Dying to take the Fallout world for a run on the new gen machines :)
Honestly, I don't want to see it turn into a game like RAGE or Borderlands. We have those already.
This is now a vast wasteland and you walk it alone, (or with a companion). The tension isn't as heavy when you pop into a vehicle and take off from a fight because you are overpowered, as opposed to picking off a few and taking on the rest, or running away while being chased down with a giant scorpion trying to cut you off.
Fallout 4 is probably going to be the 1st game where I really discover everything for myself.
I played the last 2 (3 and NV) to death but had a couple of "gee better look on the internet moments" to see if I was missing anything.
I really didn't need them so will explore every part of this new map multiple times to get the whole lot in.
My only exception is game breaking bug avoidance. I will still monitor that. There was one pa...
They clearly aren't listening to issues people have been having with their game.
One of the major ones has and will by the looks of it always be matchmaking. 1000s of people on LFG trying to find people to play with. Why should we have to do this if we don't need to.
