I read another review giving this VR version a 9. I was playing it on my Series X 4K 60fps, but was going to buy this version. From this review it doesn't seem to deserve a 6. Not from what the reviewer describes. I will have to see for myself.
I have PS now and Game Pass. Look at the list of Game Pass games compared to Now. Also look at how many Game Pass games are optimized for the new gen. Hands down Game Pass is better.
Uh, no. So many games I was already playing got free Series X updates. Quick resume and load times are also fantastic current gen improvements. I would not want to go back to last gen after 3 months with Series X.
Or it is free if you have Game Pass. For the full price of this game, I get 6 months of Game Pass.
And Sony fanboys still will say Game Pass sucks. This game and Outriders = $140.00. Glad I went with Series X first. Game Pass, Obsidian and Bethesda are why I did go with Series X first.

I get your point, and respect it. I absolutely love the Series X, and am eventually will get a PS5. I want Horizon Zero Dawn, God of War or Uncharted to be released first.
Once I have PS5 3rd party games I will buy which ever version of new games has the better performance.
I am far from an Xbox fanboy. I have all systems accept PS5. That is only because I haven't found one yet.
A lot of games getting a Series X boost I already own. Also I paid $29.99 for 3 months of Ultimate.
Sony fanboys already said to Series owners, they "don't care about old games". That is what we have heard them say, article after article when Microsoft did this.
It is no longer "next gen" 'new gen' maybe. I have been playing Series X for 3 months already. The new consoles are almost 6 months old now.
Also, why is fidelity mode locked at 30fps? I thought both new consoles were up to 8k ready. Is that locked at 15fps? 🙄 clearly the 15fps is a joke, but really? Pro and X1X were pulling off 4k 30 fps.
Too bad it is only sold for Switch. PC gamers playing this without purchasing it are criminals.
There are already multiple reports about dualsense failing, and drifting issues. There have been several articles right here on N4G about it.
This game definitely looks current gen on my Series X. Such a fun game too!

Your LOADING TIME comment says you are not playing on current gen. There is maybe 2 seconds of loading in between at MOST.
XSS was a stupid idea! It has a decent amount of power, and should be able to play games at 720p and keep up with Series X, but why? Microsoft should have done a digital only version with the same specs as Series X. 720p this gen is unacceptable, especially when Microsoft promised 1080p.
