Eh the problem with sniping is that DICE makes the scout class kinda exclusive. Though my only experience with it is BF3, it was kinda bad then cause they couldn't really contribute much

I haven't bought an Ubisoft game since AC3. They've put out F2P games in the past which they've shut down not even a year after, and their multiplayer games aside from For Honor and Rainbow Six have been massive flops. You aren't missing out on much by not buying their games.

Companies tend to adapt slowly or not adapt at all from what I've seen. Just look at the rise of online shopping and how most companies still have pretty bad online storefronts. The top heads are usually hardheaded and so long as they're still profiting they don't care. It's mostly out fault, these companies owe us but some people think it's the other way around
I just want a BF that's more slower paced, and has more ways to get around. One of the things I hated about BF3 was how building hallways led to dead ends and the out of bound barriers were always inconveniently placed so you couldn't flank around and break choke points.

I don't really understand how you can patent something like this. It's a game mechanic based around real world human interaction. If other devs are aiming for realistic AI interactions this is almost always going to be infringed.

PS4 was released a year after. They put all their focus on that and let the VITA die a slow death, it wasn't the memory cards (even tho I agree they were and still are expensive). Maybe after a couple of years of ps5 they can try again and put some focus on a handheld, I'd buy it
Joel's death wasn't the problem, the way they wrote his death was. They also wrote Ellie as completely unlikable just to make Abby look good in comparison. It's like they wanted to make a game with just Abby but they knew Joel and Ellie would sell it better. Minor annoyances aside, the game aspects of part two are enjoyable but have room for improvement
Video games are just as or more, I say more, than capable of tackling serious topics. The problem is from what I've noticed that there seems to be more often than not a disconnect between story and gameplay. You want me to go around shooting hordes of NPCs while in cutscenes you make the MC act in a way that completely contradicts what I was doing for 20 minutes straight.
