While I know that the Wii version won't look anything like the 360/PS3 version, I don't like comparing scans to online pictures. I'm sure it looks slightly better than what's shown here.
That graph is an estimate from 2006 and it's horrifically wrong. Haha. They predicted the Wii to have an American install base of ten million less than the 360 and PS3 and for the "next gen" systems to outsell it consistently. Boy... how do these analysts still have jobs?
I agree. ^^ That statement was a bit out there... I love my Wii, but the 2008 lineup is a bit lackluster (as of now). There's de Blob, Deadly Creatures, and Tales of Symphonia that all look great, but that's about it so far. However, the titles with no release dates look awesome:
Disaster: Day of Crisis
The Conduit
Mad World
Tenchu IV
Monster Hunter 3
Fatal Frame IV
Fragile
Arc Rise Fantasia
Those are just exclusives and not ...
What happened to the time when games were released just in game cases instead of huge boxes? I'm all for Mario Kart Wii and Samba, but c'mon.
1. The Conduit
2. Mad World
3. Fatal Frame IV
4. Disaster: Day of Crisis
5. de Blob
6. Monster Hunter 3
7. Kid Icarus
8. Tenchu 4
9. World of Goo
10. Deadly Creatures
Honorable Mention: Sadness <- Would have been in my top ten if it were real.
Who says the Wii doesn't have good games?
P.S. All those games are exclusive. Only one is 1st party. (Disaster is 2nd party)
Yup. You have to beat the game in three game days or else the moon will crash into Clocktown. Luckily, you can go back in time.
Idk why you got a disagree. Here's a bubble.
Your comment would make sense if the fanboys here were saying "I hope it comes to the PS3 because I don't have a Wii." Instead, they're just lashing out at the Wii. They're ready to label any Wii game as terrible, even if it's a fantastic series.
And I know that KH3 isn't in development. Anyone who has been following the game knows that. If a different team picks it up, it's still a sequel though. Just like COD4 was a sequel to COD3.
Because
Certain genres + Wii = Perfect harmony
If you really cared about the series, then you wouldn't discriminate.
Personally, I don't care where KH3 goes because I'll have all 3 systems by then, but after reading the comments here, I'm hoping it goes to the Wii just to see what all of the "guys who favor consoles instead of games" have to say about it.
Enjoy, Europeans. It's awesome.
Get Lost Winds. It's awesome. I'm really looking forward to World of Goo and Eternity's Child.
Oh ok. Thanks.
Isn't there a weird conversion between the XBL, PSN, and WiiWare currencies? Would they be priced the same?
Xianghua > all.
It doesn't say but I doubt it. There haven't been any multiplatform downloadable games, right?
Cool. WiiWare (and the Wii as a whole) get more and more love everyday.
I have two words of advice describing what you should do with casual games.
Ignore them.
Be happy that games like FFXIII, Gears of War 2, and Mad World are coming out. They all look awesome!
Big Jim. I haven't played MGS4, but I beat both Bioshock and Galaxy, and while they're completely different, they're both great. It's a huge stretch to compare a mature and violent shooter to a feel-good platformer. They're both awesome in their own ways. Bioshock introduced us to new techniques for the FPS genre with plasmids. Galaxy had so many imaginative and new platforming techniques (it looked mighty pretty too) that I often smiled while playing. Beating both gave me a sense of accompli...
I apologize Siligon, but I disagree with you completely. How has the Wii crippled the hardcore market? Sure, gaming isn't seen as a niche thing anymore. The image of the gaming community is no longer just teen and young men. Everyone plays video games. Has that affected the games that us hardcore gamers get? NO. In my personal opinion, now is the best time to be a gamer. We've got soooo many good games coming out for every system. You can't use a half-assed attempts like Haze or Alone in the ...
Yes, they are in game shots, but they are also scanned onto the computer. That explains the fuzziness.
