The Gamecube was an awesome system. The problem was Nintedo's advertising. They released so many amazing first party titles, its astounding. For this generation, Nintendo needs to learn how to advertise their third party titles if they want to succeed (more than they already have). I do think the Wii will last. If you get past the idea that the motion controls are gimmicky, you'll see that they have a lot of potential.

And in response to the gimmicky controls, you're right. Most games have terrible controls, but have you played Metroid Prime 3? Medal of Honor? I think that gameplay is one component of the "next-gen" experience (graphics being the other half) and to be honest, I think that the Wii has the most potential for FPS innovation and intuitiveness.
I think the the Wii still has untapped potential. If you look past the crappy peripherals and dozens of shovelware games with gimmicky controls, there are some real gems. Zack and Wiki is an amazing point and click game. You can't get those on the other two systems. Metroid Prime 3 has some of the best first person controls I've ever used. I think the Wii has potential to become the most intuitive and innovative system for FPS's. It's up to Nintendo, though.
I have to disagree. They've already opened up a huge audience. Hardware sales are incredible and more recently, software sales have increased substantially. Also, I think 3rd party support will get better; not flawless, but much better. (It can't go anywhere else but up.)
Please stop with your fanboy rants. They compare PS3 and 360 graphics because the hardware is similar. Wii hardware is inferior to that of the PS3 or 360, therefore, they do not compare them.

Fail. The graphics are rated based on the capability of the hardware, not the comparison to more powerful systems. Look at IGN's scores for the virtual console games. They rate the graphics based on the capabilities of the system that they were released on. If they were compared to other systems, these games would be receiving 0's every week.
I'd replace Wii Fit with Disaster: Day of Crisis.
LBP is definitely the most creative, followed by de Blob. All of the shooters look awesome. Also, I hope Boom Blox sells well because it seems to be the most intuitive Wii game for 2008.

The likelihood of Kingdom Hearts 3 being a Wii exclusive, or at least multiplatform, is already really high. With Disney really interested in the Wii and Crystal Tools compatible on the Wii, it looks really good for Nintendo.

No one knows whether or not Sadness is even in production. Nibris (the developer) could very well be a fat man in his basement pretending to be a developer. We haven't seen any video of a game that was announced 2 years ago. Sounds fishy to me. There haven't been any face to face interviews with anyone from Nibris. Matt from IGN received an email from them, asking him to meet them at GDC for an interview. They never showed up. It could just be a huge practical joke.
