Yeah I think MS is the only one to ever release a better version afterwards. I mean ofc better by HDMI (something fundamental). MS is also the only one to ever make the games require a HDD even when they sold a HDD-less version of their console and publicly said that HDD is not a mandatory purchase.

Since Sony has always catered to all kinds of gamers. Singstar is one helluva popular game and most people singing there are female.
There's no point in trying to make it seem as catering to females and casuals would somehow CHANGE anything. In Nintendo's and MS's case the support for the core gamers just stopped. Especially MS.

I still have it for my PS2 and I just DLd it for my PS3. The game is pure gold. Great comedy, great gameplay and a somewhat unique story or the presentation or whatever. It's great to say the least!

I think if 2 days worth of sales lands @ 33k there is no way for 5 days to sell 100k. Even if this was only counting the very first day of sales for a DQ game 33k seems a disaster.
If someone has a link to other DQ games' day one sales it would be enlightening to compare.

Well to say SOMETHING good about VGC the BS numbers they spew are not as bad now as they were when the install base was a lot smaller. A million in a pool of 70 million is a LOT more insignificant than a million in a pool of 10 million. That's why the uproar was as big as it was especially with PS3 being undertracked to hell.
These numbers are still BS but the TREND of sales might be visible even with VGC. PS3 has been and will be selling like hot cakes for years.

I think people calling doom on Wii U mean that since Wii U isn't as LUCKY as Wii was to become a fad with casuals. Wii flew off the shelves and was hard to obtain for months. Everyone wanted a Wii. This is clearly not the case with Wii U so calling doom on it is not entirely out of place.
