No matter what you say logic we will see how good a price the Vita is launching with once it hits the stores. If it gets the 3d-treatment then OK you were right. Until then this is nothing to feel proud over for you. Wait and see just like the rest of us. I personally think 250 dollars for Vita is a steal no matter what the PS3 costs. It has nothing to do with it.

Actually if you had been here in the early stages of this gen bashing the PS3 gets the most attention since it's the platform that has recieved the most FUD ever. In 2005-2008 all we had was news after news of bashing the PS3 with LIES and FUD. Nowadays it's just not funny or anything anymore. It's just OLD and that's why it gets attention.

Ps3 players are not so obsessed by online play since we have much more single player games and we are older in general. We don't care about socializing as much as x360 people. Socializing is the number one thin usually between ages 13 and 20. That has to be the exact target audience for x360 prior to Kinect.
Ps3 has it's average age for it's players a little more like 15-30. Believe me when you get older and have your job and your own ...

Just goes to show that x360 people are younger people who care about socializing so much. That's what people between 13-20yo do all the time. They LIVE for other people and have to keep their "reputation" up by being cool and social. I could not care less to play with my friends. They are on my list for the occasional messaging and changing of opinions. Also for trophy discussions.

I still to this day can remember the sense of gratification and satisfaction when I beat Ultimecia. The first stages of the battle got me killed several times and just when I got that torso part of griever (I still remember her summon's name) destroyed I was like OMG this was great!....until I understood that it isn't over yet....The last form of Ultimecia I beat on the first try iirc. The battle went on for about an hour or so against the last form itself and oh boy when I saw it die...

The problem is that some of us here have values and might not be able to support MS purely based on the BS that they spouted in 2005-2008. Not everything can be put in the category of "PR talk" and be forgotten as such. There is a line to draw there....
I will not dig any deeper into this with someone who's been on this site only 2009 onwards apparently. Might as well talk to a brick wall.

An x360 means 6-10 exclusive games worth playing. A PS3 means 30-40 exclusive games worth playing. You do the math people. I don't have the time for even half of the games available for PS3 so why in the world should I buy another console for 6-10 more games? Oh right... to be a REAL gamer...-_- sigh whatever I guess...

None of that really matters though since games like Valkyria Cronicles are only on PS3. It's all about the games and Sony has a bunch of those.
Also I think most people bitched about having to upgrade their PCs all the time. Upgrading HW is expensive and if a gen lasts about 7-10 years on consoles you save a big bunch of money not having to upgrade.
This game is to die for as a Metal Gear Fan. I will buy you and play the living hell out of you once you arrive my darling.
