All but confirmed we will see a new Wii very soon. I think holiday 2012 will be the launch window for Wii as well as Xbox. Sony is still licking their wounds and want a ten year life cycle. If they stick to that, they will be in last place FOREVER. I doubt they will give 360 the early lead again. They , as in Sony, must know the new machines are coming, the new Xbox/Wii will no doubt have blu-ray in them.

Why bring up the PC argument???. There are no 2 PC's the same. One guys experience will not be the same as the next guy's. PC is irrelevant.
Halo Reach is exclusive to the Xbox 360. What does the PC or PS3 have that compares to Halo. Nothing...Nada...zilch. Case Closed.

Kinect will be a success as is but if M$ cares at all about gaming with Kinect, they will have to open it up to the gaming devs at large. Kinect basically turns the TV in your living/gaming room into an IPod touch. If you let the gaming community run with it, great things will happen.

Interesting choice of games but none I would agree with. Nintendo and it's current console are not at the front of anything anymore. SplinterCell Conviction was not only one of the best games this year but this entire generation of gaming. The crying about stealth play is not warranted. Alan wake is a great game as is. What Remedy as well as M$ need to do is get down to the business of selling the game they have right now. How to do that...well, for starters the DLC " the signal " should be a demo. It's kinda long for a demo at 1.5-2 hrs, but it's only 800 mb or so. The entire Alan Wake gameplay is 2.5 gb which is an incredible feat. The entire game rings in at 6.1 gb.

No surprise here...Activision wants you to pay to play MW on line. If that happens, as I have said before and now Bungie is saying right now, all gaming will suffer because fewer games will be sold. They will have to sell to all platforms if they want to get anywhere near 10 million units sold. I think we will see Mass Effect go multi-plat soon...they have to. Any third party developer has to be crazy, unless there is an underlying reason, to not go multi-plat.

Having played the demo, I'd say this is a rental at best. I don't need a video comparison to tell me the graphics as well as the game itself is bargain bin compatible. The AI and gun play mechanic are like UC 2...yes that bad. While the reality Tv camera work is cool, it means little if the gameplay can't back it up.
BTW...Even at this res, the 360 is better. Again...another multi-plat that looks better on 360. Crysis, MOH and Rage up next.
