Xbox is the better console in every way. PS3 has been a failure in every way and if Sony lets M$ walk out in 2012 alone with a new machine, Sony will be last FOREVER. Sony won't let that happen, they can't, the shareholders will have a revolt.
As for games, 360 and all the multi-plats that lead develop on the 360 have DESTROYED the PS3 exclusives...WHY...they look and play better, case closed.
If M$ wasn't so greedy, they could of sunk PS3 alr...
Calling Kinect " just a camera " is about as dumb as it gets. He knows it's not just a camera...lol. Doesn't matter, in the short term the only thing you will see from all these devices is Wii like game play. As the software begins to improve and developers come to grips with what they have, bigger and better ideas will emerge.

Having spent a little time checking out some tech demo's of 3D I think it's safe to say that 3D in some form, maybe not the glasses wearing one, is here to stay.

Yep, no surprise. The competition, especially Halo Reach looks incredible. I think Bungie has sent the wannabes back to the drawing board. COD will move alot of games BUT will pale in comparison to the value Halo is bringing in terms of game play and on line. Activision picking up Bungie is gonna be huge for them.
Crysis is out of there league on consoles...they can't hide forever. They will have to put that game out for all to see. 2011 is top heavy with FPS's...l...
How about releasing a in game trailer. the CGI stuff will only create unreachable expectations. Has no one learned anything after the KZ 2 debacle...lol. The trailer looked awesome, one of the best I've seen. The game will look nowhere near that.

I think you can see some potential with this game. It reminds me of what Lucas Arts is doing with Star wars. I think many more developers will mimic this style. Great to here it's releasing in the fall of this year.
I hope M$ opens the developing of Kinect to the masses. It is obvious that the potential for Kinect is massive. It basically turns your 50" Tv into a giant Ipod touch.

Game play and storytelling are all part and parcel of the same thing. If one aspect is lacking it's very noticeable.

UC 1 had 80 ( ND numbers ) pre-rendered cine's. UC 2 had 564...that is way to many and alot of them were very long. A GOOD video game will tell the story throu...

I think we are seeing the end of physical media as we speak. Blockbuster is closing stores everywhere. People want to watch a movie in HD, they order through there cable/Internet/satellite providers. Sony and the PS3 faithful in denial. Ipod touch, cell phones...etc's are a gateway technology that are bringing DLC to the masses. The next gen of consoles, if there is one will be the last. Things are changing so fast it's crazy.

I don't think this developer put much effort into the 360 version. I don't blame them. The 360 doesn't have a fanbase for that game...YET. With the introduction of Kinect and M$ plan of having a more casual gaming line up, maybe M$ can attract the kids that like those anime games in the future. Nintendo sells enough crap for ten companies. Without the piracy, there sales would be dismal at best. Nowhere near as popular as it is now.

They pulled So-com from receiving the beat down it was about to receive this holiday. When people say Sony Move, people go..what, that Wii rip off that costs a $399 with a one controller and a PS3. Bionic Commando was a great surprise. There is a steep learning curve but once you get the hang of it, it was fantastic. Incredible looking game as well. The game is $9.99 these days.

MW2 is one of the best shooters ever made in the history of gaming. COMPLETELY trashed UC 2 in sales and rightfully so. UC 2 is a children's game and it's a crime against the 20+++++++million gamers that chose MW2 over the over hyped and pre-rendered heavy UC 2 that it received the GOTY. If you had a vote tomorrow by people that ACTUALLY play games, MW2 would demolish UC2. UC will forever be a RENTAL for me. I embarrassed I paid for that title. Terrible gameplay and zero originality.....
