Dunno about the special abilities but I have already seen several people offering their services in specific areas of the game such as security/protection, sniper, driver, ect for the right price. The special abilities would only further this skill based market. Amazing the online economy they are attempting to create, for example stock market.
I can't even imagine what they will try to do next gen.
That would make my ps sharp shooter for the move that much better. I dream of the day.
Dunno where you are but I know the download will not be available till 3am est (12pst) here in the states so for me a retail copy will give me an extra 2.5 hours or so
I agree with hammad, but generally that's on the pages that require you to click through each page to get through the list so I guess I can see how this would be questionable.

GtaO Comes out about 6 weeks before the ps4, this will easily hold me off as well as justify me keeping my ps3 hooked up after I get a ps4. Hell I'll prob still jump into factions on tlou a couple times a week after my honeymoon phase w gta wears off.
I think the disagrees was for the dream of 2160p. Not happening this gen. The ps4 has 4k for video only not for games. And most games will be 1080 I believe some are already confirmed as 720p. Graphics resolution isn't the main focus so much as computational power, as in the effects you can display, ai, and things you can have happening at once.
But if I want a tank or a military plane I shouldn't have to break into the base to steal it just to destroy it in five minutes. I cannot imagine they will remove the cheat codes, they turn the world into a playground and give you all the toys to play in it.
I like the quick race idea, no checkpoints so if you know the map and shortcuts you have a better chance, makes more sense w an open map than a predetermined path you have to take.
Cannot wait to hunt them down and take them out in the most brutal way. Nice little touch they added.
From what I was reading the other day you cannot steal someones car and your car cannot be stolen. I also read that if u dont change the appearance of a stolen car (an npc's car) and drive past a cop you will get a wanted star and you can also take out insurance on a car and effect the stock market by targeting a specific make thus requiring insurance companies to replace that car increasing sales.

Just got the turtle beach xray on amazon for 100 on sale from 200 and like them a lot so far. Only had them a few weeks and don't have much to compare them so dunno how the pluse elite stacks up with them.
Pretty sure its part of gta5 but that its gonna be such a massive feature that they are giving it its own name. Kinda like MGO/MGS4

I can handle that it isn't next gen because I feel they wanted to focus all their energy at truely mastering this gen and creating an incredible experience. Allocating resources to making a next gen version would be detrimental to this, and since so many ppl already own ps3/360 it would hurt too many ppl while only benefiting a small group of early adopters of next gen systems. I wouldn't be surprised if afterwards they made next gen versions, to get a taste of developing on them but ...
Nintendo is not a company that strives to be a leader in graphics and raw power. Look at the last gen, this gen will be the same, this is their logical next step. They can achieve 1080p 60fps sure but they are sacrificing elsewhere I.e. how much is going on on the screen, textures tend to be more simplistic and they don't usually go for photorealism. Goto your browser and click a link using a controller and using a mouse. I don't see how you could argue its just as easy using the controller and feel this is comprable to lining up a good shot. Not sure whether I want this feature or not, I'm definitely interested but we will see. Do not like aim assist though.
I agree with everything but the thing w the online is that they have seperate development teams and gtaO is considered its own entity, its just using the gtaV material as a jumping off point. The impact that has on gtaV remains to be seen, but I am not worried as the writing/story team would not be effected by the online component.
