Its graphics may not be the most mind blowing, I still think it looks amazing mind you but character models have looked better in many other games, but the art that makes it stand out. It comes to life. Each block is amazing and full of character. Every street feels like it has an untold story.
Its really annoying when a passenger is talking as you are driving and pauses for a couple seconds after u bump into a car then picks up after a couple seconds of silence mid sentence.
I've heard once you get used to it its better than previous games but its just way to slidey for me. If you tap the joystick side to side a few times to make slight adjustments as u go through an intersection or something the back end starts sliding all over the place. We will see how I feel once I get more used to it but as for now I can't imagine driving with any one but franklin because I need his special to make it.
You know its rockstar when I'm looking forward to bumping into people to see how various people react

Its tough to say. Goty shouldnt be based just on fun, but what a game does to move the community forward. Last of us was amazing and brought a lot to the table, so I lean towards that for goty, but if the three protagonists system is done well then it will be a tough decision. Masterpieces years in the making from Naughty dog and rockstar, gonna be a controversial goty. Unless bioshock wins it haha.
Mine would be:
Cruise through downtown enjoying the tunes and getting into the setting and radio
Find some good jumps and test them with the fastest car i can aquire(I've seen some nice jumps in the videos and trailer)
Drive straight down a sidewalk from an in the car camera angle
Test the cops
See how fast I can drive (and hope I fly out the windshield on impact)

Their last reason, the one about depositing money in the bank is only valid online, which doesn't go up till october. Gonna be playing for two weeks by then haha def not on my list of first things to do in the game.
I spend the time between sleep browsing for atticles with new details then generally stop reading after a couple sentences from fear of spoiding anything then go back a few minutes later and give in to the temptation. Its a viscious cycle.
My 60gig fat just got ylod a few weeks ago, perfect timing as it was when I was getting lots of overtime and upgraded to a 250gig slim. Gta I'm ready for you.
Side note I got the ylod playing TLOU factions, 30 seconds into a match, the ONLY time I've ever played in the downtown map. Still dunno why nobody likes that map as i havent actually played it :(

Hell I would install the whole game so I never have to worry about having the disc in and can hop in anytime, I'd get the digital version but its gta I need that map and guide and case in my collection.
On topic: getting the midnight launch but clearly won't play it that night w such a massive install abd I work tuesday...but I'm off wed and thursday so come tuesday night ill be playing till I work on friday!

Ah I see your concerns, however they said that there will be a system wherein a player who is unfair in such ways can be reported and enoigh bad rep results in a symbol by their name so you will know before you get screwed by them. I doubt it'll be flawless but they are taking steps. I plan to play w my buddies mainly but the 16 player missions will definitely be a bit sketchy.
And most of the "factoids" have already been discussed and completely false, such as the cell phone bit(r* has already said they cut theis drastically) and the restarting a mission at the hospital if you die(checkpoints were confirmed already). Not to mention that he is worried that a lamp post will pull him into cover.
