While I agree with the thought, it was honestly my first, this guy obviously found fun in the game and he shouldn't have lost his account if everything was on the up and up. That said he exploited a glitch so he's at their mercy.
No it would be a MP game... but what part of nonsport MP game confuses you? Because that was clearly the point of my comment and, fuck, the game you point out has Sport in the title.
Anyhow, no need to answer my question was rhetorical.
I'm sure I'm looking at this wrong... but at least MS is making multiplayer games... The last nonsport game Sony published with MP was Uncharted 4 in May of 2016. (And they haven't updated/touched it in over a year.)
I was not a fan of it... I watched a 15 minute video by EA a month before the demo and couldn't wait for it to be over... Now, playing it was better but still extremely boring. Go to point A. Defend it. Now to B. Another fight. Etc. Etc. Etc. Just ugly design.
Now I played the Tech Alpha and Closed Beta for the Division 2, putting in 10-20 hours each time I imagine and I wa still wanting to play it when the testing ended.
It's sad to see B...
Honestly, pretty much all of Sony's first party shooters this generation has sucked... Last gen they had failures but at least they tried. MAG, SOCOMs. Warhawk (and Starhawk)
They at least carried over Killzone and Uncharted but, in all honesty, Sony dropped the ball. Those games deserved better MP support. Uncharted in particular. It's a completely unique take on a 3rd person shooter and it could be more than it is... A mode most people ignore or move on from...
It's not so much the storyline but the world you can experience. Also, on PC they've always gotten away with bugs and crap because the community will patch ut for them... but that's not something one can really do on a Game as a Service model.
It's more of the cell shaded visuals than anything.
Did you try the public test/beta? I found it to feel very generically... and sure didn't feel like KZ2.
I watched a video of gameplay released by EA (a few weeks ago) themselves of a mission in the game... It looked boring, generic, and the gameplay looked weak. Worst of all the mission structure looked horrible.
That said I still downloaded the demo and gave it an honest try... I was impressed with nothing.
EA isn't humanity. It's a corporation with the soul purpose of making money... It will tell any lie to get you to buy it's game as it has in the past added microtransactions ro already released games.
The first one's campaign, though I never finished it, was do bad it was good...
This one is just bad, no charm, and the racing feels like it's a step back.
I think I have 40 hours in it so far... and I've actually enjoyed it quite a bit. It's rough in some areas but if you ever wanted 40K Diablo you should find enjoyment in it.
(I bought it at 30 bucks. If that matters at all.)
That's all on you.
Hell, even at release there was way too much to do to only get 3 nights out of the game.
Worthy of the title, tbh. It was the best racing game released in 2016.
Well, first thing first... Respawn is going to need a new name as no one respawns when in a death match with EA.
That seems a bit much to me too... I don't remember hearing of a troubled development but maybe it was...
I cannot really argue with the man... He was there and I wasn't. Just a bit surprised.
Amen! I rarely ace online, though I seem to do good when I do, just because of the people...
Hopefully, this is a step in the right direction for the genre... I would like something a bit more reasonable/cheaper than iRacing if I do want to go online and I'm sure I'm not the only one.
They do but when they run a new one out every year it does cost them sales...
Yeah, I was a bit surprised they started with Nightmare... I figured the ladies would sale better.
Yes and no. It's hard to fork down 60 dollars when the same game on another platform goes for 20 when on sale.
