Correction: Most games never reach 3.4 million... Hell, most don't make 2.

It won't be canned and I'm positive the game was profitable... What is going on is SE needed it to do better to pay for their other bills/games... Like FF XIII Versus. (Long in development and short on profit.)

Seems like a rather low score for a game the reviewer seemed to like. I do agree that 60 bucks is too much for whats offered.

Very tacked on... I wish time spent on mp would have gone to better optional tombs. (Too simple and too short.)

Right now I'm debating on selling/trading my copy in... Something I just never do as I'm pretty much done with it... I just wonder if proper SP content is coming or not.

Not sure why anyone would think this would be DLC worth buying and/or paying to make exclusive in the case of MS.

I'm guessing SE figured, and rightfully so, that a check from MS would be more profitable than what they would make form PS3/PC players as this game's MP is going to be dead, if not dead already, before that first wave of DLC hits.

Except for the inevitable release of DLC... lol

Agreed, its not the WiiU is selling like hotcakes... And its quite possible the port could suffer since it would likely have to be farmed out... And, lastly, they would be hard pressed to charge what they would need to to make a profit... It's what 20 dollars on every other console?

That's not a big profit margin...

@ICECREAM; My statement is more based upon playing the final product to conclusion and seeing all the optional tombs/puzzles/content than the artwork/article above. It doesn't much matter what Lara fights/encounters complex puzzles/tombs can always be included.

@pr0t0typeknuckles; Cool, I can understand that... But I would say that the biggest change was the swapping of puzzles for combat and not so much who or what Lara fights.

It would be a spoiler to answer that question. As long as you go in realizing that the tombs are optional and extremely easy, that the game is far more Uncharted than Tomb Raiders of old you should really enjoy it.

How so? I see no mention of tombs with large complex puzzles that could never be mistaken for a challenge room...

Note: No down vote from me... Just curious as to me it doesn't/didn't feel like a real Tomb Raider game do to a lack of tomb/complex puzzles and not much else...

Well, they both (Uncharted and TR) have one thing in common for sure... Far too small of a community to support them.

aka Everyone brace for UC2/3 lag in the new TR!

That said, I would be shocked if it came close to either UC game. (Personally, I think UC2 was better. I liked some of the refinements in UC3 but for the most part I think they went too far and lost some of the simple enjoyment that was UC2. Also most of the new maps, that shipped with the ...

As someone who has played lots and lots of Uncharted MP, and actually looked more forward to UC3 MP than its SP campaign, and found enough to enjoy even with all of its flaws I'm deeply worried by the mention of a melee booster... The melee has always been unbalanced/too powerful in Uncharted and I'm more than worried that this trend will now continue.

This just reminds me of the blind firing Kal-7 issue... Hopefully, I'm wrong. Really, really hope that I am....

I too have heard that Spartan Ops is the place to get XP but I've not seen it... Then again, I'm so far behind in them I've yet to do a full party.

By yourself it seems to payout just as much as winning (with good performance) as SWAT does. About 2900 XP when doubled.

It was highly unique and much beloved by its player base... but that player base was always insanely small. And without a decent sized player base you end up with a bunch of issues that mostly revolve around lag and the developer abandoning it for green pastures. (I don't truly blame ND for doing so, though I do feel they left the party earlier, but far too many maps were left with wall glitches in them.)

Not sure of the platform but the title made me think of the old movie quote involving, "Spaceballs 2: The Search for More Money"

From the "article"

"Now, instead of getting down to the experience I paid good money for, I’m sitting here playing Sophie’s choice with my Hard Drive, trying desperately to crawl up to the 4-8 GB that is required."

No, you're not... Your on the internet looking very foolish.
