I think MGS 4, Yakuza 3 and 4 (even Kenzan) should be on the list. RDR had some good animations even though I hated the game. Killzone 3 had some good facial animations.

It's funny reading the comments on the PSX scene saying they are not going to buy Sony products lol. They should buy other consoles then instead of putting more money in Sony's pocket.
With Black Ops, people thought that Treyarch would give them a fun experience like WAW as some people were disappointed with MW2. Although there are other games out there, we shall see what the other devs bring in. Personally I think there is too many FPS games on the market and more to come but it's not going to stop that joke know as Machinima promoting and advertising COD videos and then criticising other FPS's because it doesn't play like COD.
It doesn't matter (:P) if you are not good at drawing. As long as you have a creative mind drawing skills do not matter at the end of the day. You can portray anything you like even though you may not think it is good, some people will appreciate your work for what it shows.

I think you should create a few PS3 themes or redesign the XMB in your final year, but it's upto you.
I recommend getting Digital Arts, Computer Arts magazines as they have great illustration work in them or check their websites. I love using Adobe Illustrator. I do not see much illustration work at D & AD.

I think Gamespot reviews have more depth in their reviews. However personally I hate the grading system from any site, it just seems like it is slapped on there or forced.
I agree Yakuza 4 is not a 6.5 game. I would personally rate it 8 or 8.5. It is this generation of gaming journalism that when other genres apart from shooters and well established franchises they get marked lower for being different and people get put off by it.

Most people play FIFA because of the licence. I don't play much footy games just that people bash PES for the stiff movements at time. The AI is a joke in FIFA.
I agree, however I think you try Yakuza 4. Although it has a lot of cutscenes the game has a good story. The situation is not as bad as the leap year bug where you could not play anything, that was a pain in the ass at the time. There is a lot of stuff to do on the PS3 in stead of playing MP games.
