The timed special events, those I hate the most. I want to be able to live my life and play the game whenever I want. And you do realize that everyone of those "lost sectors, dungeons, missions, and strikes" say the same thing. Loot this chest 5 times, kill this enemy 20 times, collect these useless tokens. The reward isnt often worth it, oohhh fancy I went up .2 light level. No thanks
Its definitely not dead, and from what I read and hear its pretty good. My reason to kick destiny is that I'm bored of the same mechanics. It doesnt matter how they deliver the story (which has improved), what special guns they give me and stuff. I just cant do the same kill 20 fallen quests over and over.

Yea the humor is ok, but I do love the parts where the NPC's are like "HELP ME" and you chop their arm off. That was pretty funny.
Thats the thing though, pointing out a flaw would make sense if it was a mechanic that was flawed (like their objective tracking/map, what a mess). Youre pointing out that it wasnt different (enough) than previous games and thats a flaw, thats just wild. Took like 4 GOW's before they changed it up, took like however many zeldas and they still made you fight 3 bosses to open ganon (and that game got GOTY).
GOW made 4 games that were basically the same thing. Sure the game is due for somekind of reboot. BUT really "Angry Joe", 8/10 because i'm gonna take a moral stance on what game devs should do. Ya'll can shove off, reviews should be objective. Sure the game shouldnt even be a candidate for game of the year, its nothing new nothing fancy. That said, I'd give it a 7/10 until these console/pc crashes are resolved.

It's literally the same game with a makeover. Yes, it looks great. Yes, I want it. But GOTY come on, thats like saying an album that came out in 1995 "remastered" could be album of the year in 2019.
Half of those points are false when you consider existing PC owners. Same argument goes the other way too, though. You can build a PC for the same price of a PS5 and it'll probably work almost as good (especially if you dont count peripherals in the cost like tv/monitor, mouse/keyboard/controllers.)
Dont even need to restart anymore, but even then my SSD allows my PC to restart in something like 12 seconds...
Im running a 4700k as well! outside of upgrading my GPU from 770 to 1080, all original parts and have been running it for about 7 years. 30xx series I'm upgrading to 4k monitor and 30xx card. 80-90 fps in 4k for near the same price as the ps5.
Wait..... not only can my PC run emulators for ps3 games, new xbox games, WiiU emulator with BoTW in 4k, play FPS better, run smoother and be upgradable.... it can do things other than gaming. Fascinating device, I can see how consoles could be jealous.
Best game compared to what? I didnt see Destiny win GoTY since its release in 2014 and vanilla destiny sucked eggs. Have you played Apex, Zelda BoTW or super smash bros? What about when pubg sold 50 million copies? Bruh do you even Minecraft?
